I was in my driveway loading up my crab traps and cooler to spend my Sunday afternoon at Belcarra Park with my wife and daughter and I heard screams like I've never heard before and still haven't to this day and ran down the block as fast as I could to fid out why.

A psychopath killed his ex mother and father in law as they were coming out of Mass, drove up three or four blocks to where his ex lived killed his ex wife by stabbing her.

How long did it take to recover? I didn't, I'm tearing up as I write this.

My daughter who was four at the time came running after me. Two early teen girls stopped her before she saw anything. It was our Parish too, we went to Thanksgiving mass in English that morning at nine.

Glad your daughter was spared that memory, that's tough stuff for an adult to process.

omg, good thing those kids had the presence of mind to have stopped her, no kid should ever have to witness that kind of brutality, let alone an adult, even trained first responders have trouble with some scenes.

They seemed like a nice couple, well respected with the community, so senseless.
