I wonder if the Inuit way up in the Arctic or the radical native Indians that live are among us on their reserves will obey the quarantine orders for everyone including the Indians when the day comes when we will all be forced to have to stay at home? Something tells me that the native Indians are going to tell the white people to go take their phony virus and shove it up you know where. And I doubt that the RCMP will dare go on their Indian property and try to enforce the no go outside law. And how are you going to stop 37 million people from not going out? The only way that can be done is to threaten and tell the people that if they are caught outside they will be shot on site by the police. That might work? Lol.
How in gawds name can going for a drive for people living in the northern parts of Canada going to help spread the virus all over the north? You "sky is falling down" people need to chill out over all of this so called bs which what looks like nothing more than a bunch of bs created pandemic.
Starting yesterday, Canadians coming home today from wherever will have to quarantine themselves for 14 days. If they get caught outside going for a walk outside they will be fined $750,000 dollars or six months in the gulag. How is that for communist tyranny, eh?
And just imagine the size of the bureaucracy that would be? A new Ministry created for Whores. Taxes galore applied, hundreds of rules and regulations created, somehow global warming will be involved because you know how hot it can probably get in a whorehouse, eh? Lol. It is for dam sure that either it will cost a fortune to get laid or the whorehouse will go bankrupt soon after due to way to much government involvement.
Canada will always be in debt and near bankrupt shit as long as the government keeps trying to run the show and control and tax everything to death. Canadians need to cut government by at least 50%. And even that is way too much already.

And just how do we know that those pictures are really carrying dead bodies of people who died from this virus? Did you check yourself to be sure? They could be carrying nothing for all we know. I did a roll by of a Costco store yesterday and the lineup went around the side of the building and all around the parking lot. Gesus, what kinds of idiots are out there anyway? Line up in a line that looks like it will last for hours just so those lemmings just to save one dollar or two? Or maybe they had nothing better to do so I will kill the day by standing in a long, long lineup. Maybe if they are lucky they will catch the virus. Hey, you never know, eh? Lol.

Here is what is keeping me awake at night, not fear of COVID-19, but the fear of the economic fallout. All the restaurants, casinos, theatres, retailers and bars with no customers. The oil workers with no jobs. All my friends and relatives in those businesses and in others.
How will we make it through this?
(This is a justifiable fear - there were plenty of news reports in 2019 explaining how very many Cdns are ONE pay cheque away from fiscal disaster - thus making a MOCKERY of LIE-beral claims of our “booming” economy - so a 2 week quarantine would be a disaster for many! And now those LIE-beral DEBTS ARE DUE! WE need a MAJOR BAIL OUT from spendthrift LIE-beral govt that was ALREADY perilously close to the debt wall in “boom times”!)
The provincial government appears to be taking sound steps to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. Albertans are clamping down hard on social contact.
(The provincial govts are doing most of the heavy lifting for Wuhan sufferers while DITHERING LIE-berals offer to TALK about provincial needs! LIE-berals virtue signalled as federal LIE-berals IGNORED the swarms of travellers jammed into crowded airports as they returned home - without ANY govt effort to quarantine or even screen them!)
But what is the plan for the economy?
Alberta’s favourite public servant, chief medical officer Deena Hinshaw, often talks about our “new normal” of social isolation, but that new normal also amounts to an economy killer.
So far, our provincial leaders have come out with only general suggestions.
(It is Ottawa that hands out unemployment insurance- so why did LIE-berals STALL so long before acting? And it is Ottawa that collects the lions share of govt taxes- federal income tax is about TWICE that of most provincial tax rates so again it is Ottawa LIE-berals who are STALLING OUT!)
And, unfortunately, the new normal of Alberta politics remains the old normal of tribal bickering between left and right.
(Alberta was economically crippled - thanks to insane LIE-beral policy - BEFORE Wuhan Virus showed up - Alberta has very little left to work with! It is now up to Ottawa to take the leading role - and LIE-berals are SHIRKING that role! Even worse - LIE-berals regard Wuhan Virus as an EXCUSE to go on a spending spree in favour of LIE-beral pals - NONE of whom live in Alberta! LIE-berals seem happy to SCREW Alberta yet again!)
Tribal contempt exploded again at Tuesday’s Legislature budget debate.
Premier Jason Kenney said in his 23 years as a parliamentarian he’d never seen an opposition so divisive in a time of crises as Rachel Notley’s NDP. Kenney’s prime exhibit was the actions of NDP caucus communications officer Kate Toogood. After Kenney visited Edmonton International Airport to highlight the weak federal response for screening incoming passengers, then posted what he’d done on Facebook, Toogood posted a message to blast Kenney in the comments section of his post.
“Let’s make their lives difficult shall we?” Toogood wrote.
(How TRULY out of touch NDPees like Toogood must be - there have been plenty of critics of LAX federal screening of travellers in the news in other provinces!)
It seems Toogood, who later apologized for her remark, made the mistake of saying out loud what the NDP’s plan has been, to keep on critiquing the UCP and its cost-cutting budget as if the old normal were still our reality.
(That is political biz as usual for LIE-berals and their idiot NDPee cousins! Our idiot Boy Justin attempted to grab radical new powers that were hidden in the federal Wuhan Aid Package! So why should the provincial NDPee cousins not follow suit in the same SELFISH WAY?)
Of course, under normal circumstances a budget debate would be normal and reasonable. But the disagreement between NDP and UCP factions on cost-cutting has been hashed out thoroughly during the election campaign and ever since then, from Twitter to the legislature floor. We all know the talking points by now.
It’s time now to focus sharply on the COVID-19 crisis. In that regard the NDP has done well with repeated calls to help Albertans who are losing their jobs or income. As NDP MLA Shannon Phillips said Tuesday: “Ultimately all Albertans want to know where is the plan for some form of universal income replacement program that will keep us going through this emergency.”
(Oh- Ndpees want a “universal income replacement” program? Sounds like they are accepting the inch the govt is offering and trying to SNEAK AND CHEAT it into a full mile! LIE-berals and their idiot cousins agree with their opponents that action is NEEDED - too bad Ndpees DO NOT wish to discuss how much we will owe in CRIPPLING NEW DEBT - after things return to normal!)
(But such HYPOCRISY is standard LIE-beral policy! When Conservative PM Harper dealt with the 2008 mortgage melt down - LIE- berals RAGED that he was not offering enough aid - and yet after the crisis was over - the same LIE-beral HYPOCRITES raged at Harper for the size of his govt debt and aid package!)
Kenney’s response has been that he and all the other provincial premiers are working with the Trudeau government on expanding Canada’s federal Employment Insurance program.
If the federal measures on EI aren’t enough, Kenney said Alberta would consider other measures.
There will also be a range of measures announced this week to help hard-hit businesses and individuals, Kenney said at a press conference. Alberta will need about $3.5 billion in fiscal stimulus, he said.
Will the expansion of EI and stimulus do the trick?
Many of our best ideas now bubble up fast on social media. It could well be that consultant Ken Boessenkool, a former senior strategic advisor for Stephen Harper, has come up the best one for the financial crises.
“Fear of losing income is probably the biggest threat to social isolation protocols,” Boessenkool tweeted Tuesday. “So let’s send Ralph Bucks to every Canadian. Pick a number, $1000, $1500, $2000. Do it quick. Next year’s tax form adds a line or two that taxes some or all of this back based on family income.”
In an interview, Boessenkool added that in normal times he would not support a Guaranteed Annual Income, as it makes for a disincentive to work hard, and also targeted programs are better able to direct the right amount of income to folks with differing needs.
(The devil is in the details! Boessenkool is right that demanding we should SPEND FREELY NOW - but HOW MUCH and for how long should we spend freely? LIE-berals and their idiot NDPee cousins see no reason for ANY LIMIT on spending! - not now and not ever - just so long as they can buy votes and cling to power!)
In this crisis situation, however, a government payout — even larger than the one-time payout former Premier Ralph Klein made in 2005 to Albertans — will incentivize people to do the right thing, which is stay home from work if they’re sick, Boessenkool said.

A Canadian family evacuated from the same Italian ship, the Costa Luminosa, travelled through three airports to get home to Victoria, B.C., only to learn that all five of them were infected.

Passengers from the Costa Luminosa arrived at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta last week.
(One has to think passengers should be landing at military bases rather than public air ports! Then on Friday, Holland America Line announced that four passengers had died aboard its cruise ship, the Zaandam, after it was refused entry into Chile nearly two weeks ago. The ship, with 53 passengers and 85 crew members aboard displaying symptoms of the coronavirus, is now awaiting permission to transit the Panama Canal and sail on to Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
What would happen to the passengers if they reached Florida was far from clear.
With at least 18 cruise ships still at sea and making their way to shore in the coming days, state and federal authorities have yet to establish a cohesive strategy for evacuating ships and repatriating passengers around the world without exposing them and others to more disease.
(All govts seem to be paralysed by this issue of dealing with infected passengers and crew! Govt seems more focussed on WHO PAYS THE BILLS than on preventing further spread of Wuhan Pestilence! In the very early stages - Our idiot Boy was heard to publicly ask: “who was going to pay the medical bills for Cdns returning home from China”! Passengers who were either sick or possibly exposed to the virus were in some cases put on buses and planes, endangering others. Quarantine procedures for evacuees were sometimes contradictory and confusing, as the problems of holding passengers in isolation after they returned from their trips became almost as substantial as the danger of letting them go.
(Yankees are being FORCED to re-think their sense of individual responsibility during a Pandemic - how SAD that Cdn LIE-berals are FAILING SO BADLY to step up and do their own jobs - inspite of our history of public care! But the various FAILINGS do NOT prevent LIE-berals from bravely virtue signalling with empty platitudes!)
“The evacuation definitely helped sicken people and definitely helped spread the disease,” said Paul B. Turner, a golf club professional in Wisconsin who was aboard the Costa Luminosa.
(This same issue - of a cruise ship crowded with passengers and crew being a COMPLETELY UNSUITABLE place to quarantine people should be common knowledge by now! Such crowded conditions ENSURE that people will keep infecting each other! Only a military base offers the sort of room needed and ability to segregate the sick from the others!)
The ship, which set out from Fort Lauderdale bound for Venice, Italy, tried to dock at several ports before unloading in Marseille, France, on March 19. Mr. Turner and the other Americans and Canadians on board flew to Atlanta, then made their way to their home destinations.
(It is understandable that local authorities who are already overwhelmed by their own sick citizens would not wish to accept responsibility for foreigners! This is yet another LIE-beral care FAILING! Letting sick people drift around like that is murderously careless!)
While U.S. health authorities took great pains to sequester passengers from affected cruise ships in the early days of the outbreak, the C.D.C. in recent days has allowed hundreds of exposed and ill cruise passengers to travel on commercial flights across the country, potentially jeopardizing everyone from flight attendants to airport restaurant workers, to unwitting fellow passengers.
(Yes - LIE-beral politicians seem to have given up the fight and resigned themselves to watching as the Pandemic unfolds!)
The reason, C.D.C. officials said, is that the outbreak has entered a “new phase” in which so many people are returning from countries affected by the virus that the priority is to get evacuated passengers home quickly, where they can self-isolate.
(Yet people ARE NOT effectively self isolating! They need to go out for food and to the bank for cash and etc! Voluntary self isolation is a FAILURE!)
“We are at a different stage of a pandemic,” said Benjamin Haynes, a C.D.C. spokesman. “We are doing our best to not allow sick people to get on commercial airlines. But we also have an urgency to return well travelers home as quickly as possible.”
(In other words - IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BEST to quarantine passengers IN PLACE in whatever country their ship docked in - before letting them travel home - but LIE-berals do not wish to pay for that! And as the number of infected rises thanks to returning travellers - it is CLEAR that letting returning travellers ride PUBLIC TRANSIT or go shopping for food is a bad idea- which is why Cdn LIE- berals just now ordered travellers to take PRIVATE CARS home from the airport - in that way only their own families will face infection risks!)
William R. Burke, the chief maritime officer for Carnival Corp., which operates more than 100 cruise vessels around the world, said companies are facing suddenly closed ports, or countries that have abruptly imposed new border rules in response to the coronavirus.
(One is inclined to wonder if it would have been best for the cruise lines to SAIL their passengers back to their home countries rather than trying to dump them on unwilling local host port lands? We should even consider that cruise ships should rendezvous and SWAP passengers so that each vessel can carry as many people of one single nationality home as possible - thus also minimizing the number of different country destination stops for each ship?)
“This week the rules are different than they were a week ago,” Mr. Burke said. “We learned a lot about how to do this, good and bad. I wish I had learned from somebody else doing it.”
Passengers who were part of the chaotic scramble over the past 10 days, under rules that allowed many passengers to navigate their own way home, said that even people who were coughing and clearly sick were packed into buses and planes.
Mr. Nevis, who flew from Atlanta to Phoenix, learned this week that he had Covid-19.
(Living conditions for ships crews ARE IDEAL for spreading a Pandemic - thus getting EVERYBODY off the ships as quickly as possible and fully quarantining passengers AND crew is a clear and logical solution! They can be sent home much more safely AFTER getting through the quarantine period!)
“We were lepers — roaming freely,” said Jane M. Kennedy, who flew to Idaho after sailing on the Costa Luminosa. “God knows how many people we infected.”

James Walker, a lawyer who files lawsuits against cruise companies, said the federal authorities still lack a plan for how to get people home safely.
“I don’t think the C.D.C. has protocols in place,” Mr. Walker said. “Everyone is scrambling around trying to figure things out. It seems to me kind of a Mad Hatter type of environment; no one who is in charge, no one who is taking the lead.”
