The only issue with the 429hemi is the ports were so big you didn't have enough flow for the engine to idle. Throw on a couple of big turbos and efi and problem solved. Being a drag motor the bottom end it built to withstand nitro as the fuel of choice. For $100,000 less Ford has a V-10 than come out of gad powered cube vans and on the street torque beats hp any day and it makes a lot less noise so yo can actually us it all.

That is interesting looking at it from the World View, but I was talking about the US/Canada stats.
