No, but these two rumors are often interconnected. That's my point.

The original rumor is 5000 Jews were asked to stay away. No mention of no Jews were not killed.

Al-Manar TV was not the original source. I have read it on Whatreallyhappened. I will try to find the link. They talk about the white van with 5 Israelis in it taking pictures and so on. I might have posted it somewhere.

Al Manar TV suggests it got its news from both an Jerusalem Post article as well as the Shabak (Israel General Security Apparatus) as well as the Jordanian newspaper Al-Watan. However, all these resources first reported about 4,000 Israelis who didn't go to work, not Jews in general.
