I understand your explination, and I am one who will just leave something at an apology and move on as well.... even when I got jumped by those 5 punks a couple of years ago, a simple apology would have ended the whole thing, rather then dragging their asses into the courts...... but they didn't.... and due to technicalities in the justice system, they of course got off. If they ever cross my path again, the won't get off so easily that's for sure..... and that's not a threat, that's a promise.

There are several times when I wish would have just received, or given an apology, instead of going thru a big freakin ordeal. But there's a line. There's times when an apology won't do. Take it from someone who's been unfortunately jumped more than once. For no other reason but contempt. Wanting something I have. On time, after nearly losing, I managed to comeback in a fight and was throwing bombs as hard and as fast as I could. Eventually, All I heard was --"Stop! Stop! I'm sorry!" What? I beg ur pardon? I'm walking down the street, minding my own business. You(and ur chicken sh it buddy) try to take my stuff and you think a simple apology makes it right. No, no, no, no, no, tsk, tsk, tsk. Apologies can sometimes mean nothing. (At least to the person on the receiving end.)

My advice: If you see one of ur assailants, don't go looking for trouble. Only administer street justice if you have to.

(If you bump into one of them and they start giving you the cock-eye.........that might be a grey area.)lol

Tell us about an apology that you wish you would have received.

If George Bush apologizes for being an incompetent failure I would support keeping him out of San Quentin.

The things that we wish we'd gotten apologies for are most often the things for which apologies are meaningless.

I nearly typed about a thing I wanted an apology for, only to realize I had gotten one. What I hadn't gotten was closure or a chance to tell that person all the other little things, the ripple effect that they'd caused, that I felt I deserved an apology for too. The apology I got was meaningless when held up against the damage.
