Protesting Trump's presidency is the most futile and dumb thing yet! Trump is going to be President. Protesting is not going to change that. Protesting can only serve to keep tempers flaring and promote diversity.
The smart thing to do would be to 'accept what you cannot change'. The dumb thing to do is to waste time and energy on a lost cause.

Certainly , even though I pretty much hated the results of the last Canadian election I shut up and accepted the result . They still haven't legalized marijuana though .

"Dumb" is a slightly milder term than I would use. The Alcoholics Prayer sums it up - "Change the things you CAN, accept the things you can not and have the wisdom to know the difference". Trump is actually like a breath of free air, REALLY W.T.F. in their right mind would want Hypocritical Hillary at the Helm? In all due respect just about the most useless person I can think of.
