You are thinking of the Old Testament.

A good Christian does not stone one for blaspheme.

So... in conclusion... you are wrong. 100% wrong.

100% wrong?

A good Christian picks and chooses what parts of the bible to follow, yet sojme of you people condemn all muslims for parts of the Qu'ran that most don't follow.

That's consistency for you.

I think we have a Loser Lefty Liberal (LLL) in our mist, ie everything we do is bad but what loser countries do is ok !

I'm glad you're enjoying your look in the mirror.

Yes. 100%

No. A good Christian does not pick and chose what parts to follow I would say.

yet sojme of you people condemn all muslims for parts of the Qu'ran that most don't follow.

Some do. Most don't

That's consistency for you.

That sounds like a truckful of inconsistency when you get down to it.

I'm glad you're enjoying your look in the mirror.

I do!

Then, how do they justify ignoring the Old Testament?

I'm just asking.

Because by the coming of the Messiah, whom Christians believe is the Son of God, a new Book was written. That is where (for example) the "eye for an eye" became an "if a man strikes you on the cheek... offer him the other."

That is where anyone who blaphemes the Lord shall be stoned became "he who is among you that is without sin may cast the first stone."

It is rather simple really.

Jesus said that he was bringing a new covenant. Still, many Christians pick and choose what parts of the OT they wish to hold onto.

Exactly. So that does not make them good Christians. A Christian that would throw a rock at someone blaspheming the Lord would not be a "good" Christian.

My whole point is that Christianity includes a wide variety of beliefs in what parts of the bible to believe in, and that's just fine, however, many people seem to think all Muslims must believe in and follow every word in their book, and condemn all Muslims as if they do.

Some Christians believe, and can quote to back them up, that you shouldn't dance, or play cards, or shop on Sunday, or shop on Saturday, depending on what you believe is the Sabbath, or use birth control, or be homosexual, or charge interest when you lend money, or ..... so why anyone who claims to be a Christian would pretend that all Muslims follow literally the wording of the Quran is beyond me.

I read somewhere that there is over 35,000 different Christian denominations in North America alone. I'm guessing there are more than a handful of opinions as to what constitutes a good Christian
