Ever notice that all shows about the UK from the past are 'conflict' based (I'm including the Vikings as the sourse of the first ones exiled to the prison, I mean Isle, and the themes are not dissimilar more than they are similar? Clearly a society that is not at peace with itself. It's like they started off as being a place the unwanted were exiled to and their expansion from there was via boats that were actually holding people who were being exiled themselves.
