SirKevin,

Homosexuality is fundamentally different than paedophilia

This type of homosexuality, involving young adolescents, the same type of homosexuality that involved the vast majority of the abuse cases by Catholic 'priests'.. is, in fact, fundamentally, a factor within homosexuality. Paedophilia, as all know, is not a crime of passion, it a crime of dominance, of violence. At its core it is a sense of powerlessness that propels the protagonist to compensate with crimes against those who can't defend themselves.

That might offer an explanation, but not an excuse. It is everyone's responsibility and ability to curtail violent and illegal behaviour. Homosexuality at its core, springs from the same incentive, although the fact that it in most cases is between consenting adults does not make it a crime.

Homosexuality comes from the same unwillingness or inability to develop truly constructive adult relationships. Homosexuality is a sign of an arrested sexual development, a default position in a subculture that demands no adult standards of sexual proprietry. It is a sign of someone wallowing in adolescent sexual immaturity. People can rebel against natural law and true order of things if they want, but it'll glean themselves little except misery and unfulfillment. That just the way things are.

Sorry but that's just the way things are. I've said live and let live. I do not want a return to adult homosexual prosecution. I just don't want our society wallowing under the false fabrications that your post so clearly demonstrates. :)

Interesting that the Liberals are bad guys because they steal and are trounced for it but Svend is a great NDP candidate.

Wonder who phoned him and told him that he'd ripped the ring off with a security camera filming him. Guess that being a politician does have it's perks.

This sounds suspiciously like a "culture of entitlement" to me. God it's spreading. C'mon Harry, more bleach needed.

   Another Conservative that has no use for the truth. How corrupt are you guys anyway? Does the rot start at the head and go all the way to the bottom, or is there an honest Conservative being hidden in a closet someplace?

And yet most of the crime of Pédophilie are commited by maried heterosexual male against young girl... So your argument doesn't hold...

The priest case where more publicized but they do happen way less... Ever heard of Sex Tourism... Mostly white heterosexual men going to poor country to have sex with children (mostly asian girl)...

Aw c'mon Reverend, y'know ya'like it. Svend adds a bit of swizzle to the drab and uniform gray of the latest incarnation of socialist hidden agenda drivel. All together now. More government jobs!!!

Another corrupt Conservative. Typically, one who wouldn't know the truth if it was stapled to his/her forehead. Tell us how come Toews and Day are being allowed to run for the Conservatives, Pat.

Making a comeback?

You mean he stole another 50,000 ring?

What ever happened to that criminal Svend? Didn't the NDP send him off on some all expense trip to Europe or or was that just a rumour. Boy, that guy was a disgrace to the party . Hopefully all those folks who used to contribute to his campaign never gave cash.

It's quite something when a party that can produce Tommy Douglas could have been hoodwinked so long by a con artist like Svend. did Layton ever apologize to the Canadian people for having such a sheister in the ranks?

Wow ... well, in all fairness, he did deliver a public apology.

That is not an easy thing to do; he could just as easily have denied the charges, and he would eventually have been deemed to be exonerated by his party. While I don't condone theft, at all, it's at least something in his character to consider when judging him.

I'm not saying that I'd vote for Mr. Robinson if given the chance; but I'm not saying that I'd vote against him, either. What's done is done; at least this proves that he's a politician willing to take the rap for his own screw-ups.

My two cents.
