How exactly do you quantify such a statement? Do you know what is on at any given minute of the day on the hundreds of channels? Or do you believe that "good tv" ended when the Golden Girls went off the air?

Reality shows are BS, CSI and Law & Order have run their course. There hasn't been a good sit-com since Home Improvements. All the reruns are boring, who cares about the insulting Judge Judy, Dr Phil is an idiot. What more is there to say?
Maybe you are a Jerry Springer fan....

Well, your limited knowledge of what is actually on TV these days explains it all.

A few shows that are worth watching:

  • Mad Men
  • 30 Rock
  • LOST
  • Fringe
  • Flash Forward
  • True Blood
  • The Wire
  • Deadwood
  • Dexter
  • Curb your Enthusiasm.

Truthfully - the same old boring shows are all on different channels at the same minute of each day and we are paying for channel after channel just so we can choose which channel to watch stupid reality shows, old and boring CSI shows that have been on for wayyyyy too long. The only show left that I like is Criminal Minds and since it's the only one - even it's starting to lose it's luster. What happened to the days when there was a darn good movie on almost every night at 9:00 PM? You either go to a movie store and rent one or you pay more for your TV programs by buying a pay per vu. Who cares if we have 100 channels or 10 if there isn't anything to watch regardless. How many channels do you pay for so you can get just that one channel you want to watch? They plunk the history channel in the midst of a bunch no one wants but if you want to watch the History channel - you pay. Trash companies is what they are. Reality TV is cheap to produce because they don't have to pay the "actors". I don't even watch ManTracker but my husband does and I am so sick of even hearing it.
I hate cooking shows. Shows like Dr. Phil. All reality shows. Deal or No Deal is on right now - groan! TV is just junk. What we pay for TV each month pretty much equals the useless amount of money spent on lotteries.

Backwater, Ontario.
I'm going to start a petition for Ontario to join Quebec.

Just as long as we can get good docs and Nat'l Geographic (and watch naked 3rd world ladies) under the guise of scientific observation.

Should be able to pirate these, eh???
