In the first Canucks riot my wife and I got pepper sprayed while in line to get into the Roxy as the crowd ran east on Robson then turned north on Granville. Watching the Sony store get looted was interesting. Some chick almost lost her head to score a Walkman. A huge piece of glass dropped on her pinning her down.

Yeah....I've been to Vancouver it was home for 17 years.

Always nice to see your team do well but an expensive hit for the loyal supporters coughing out the bucks for seats. $250 - $700 if tickets were available,

Hotels get more expensive as well. If you do travel for games, sports travel agents offer decent packages without scalper prices and cheaper rooms.
