Honestly since i have been here i have not given that a thought, though i do know that the Natives are taken care of pretty well, it kinda seems as though they have more perks than any other canadians... but im not sure so dont quote me on this.

Where did you get your stats from... how do you know its only been 3000 farmers... you cant trust the stats that SA says, they dont publish half of the truth because if they did, foriegn tourists wouldnt want to go there!! Ok so there have been more non white murders than white murders.... but with what... say 2 million whites and 47 million blacks... how can you compare that... the stats are wrong about how many whites there are in SA... there are 20 white families leaving SA every WEEK!! immigrating to safer countries!! and i wasnt saying that its ok to murder blacks and not ok to murder whites, we all deserve a safer SA! what i was trying to say is, is that if another country, say canada or the UK boycotted SA, maybe the government will wake up and do something about the choas!

I wouldnt mind at all if there were reservations for whites, as long as we can sleep with both eyes closed at night im happy! i have no problem with giving them whatever they want, as long as they can keep it up and not run it into the ground... take my house, take my neighbourhood, whatever... as long as i can walk to the shop without getting raped in my street, or drive back from work without getting gangbanged and highjacked...

It's Canadian politics that is the problem. Before 1993, we had a government that was against apartheid. Since then we have had gov'ts that were pretty much unconcerned and inactive with foreign strife until Harpy went poking around in Afghanistan.

We've been experiencing amounts of corruption between about 1984 and now. I think the Canadian gov't has lost direction and has trouble with priorities.

Education might help, but I'm pretty sure most of it is the result of politics and/or religion. People have been fighting about both since people have been people.
Anyway, I'd like to see Canada do what it can to help in whichever way it can: education, boycotting, whatever works.

The first one is counting the murders of white farmers in SA.

As for the inequity of wealth in South Africa I suggest you read Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine. It has an entire chapter detailing how white South Africans managed to hand over power to black South Africans and still keep economic control for themselves.

I see from your last comment that you advocate giving the blacks nothing as a possible cure for the nation's ills. Somehow I suspect that won't work very well, as your original post indicated.
