I get this email all the time from Amazon. I wonder how hard it is to put it together that I am the author of the book they are trying to sell me.

Were they ever confused themselves or just on drugs?
How dumb I liked it though you must have had a good laugh

Sure you wrote it...but have you read it?

I have read it. Yes. It went through eight rewrites.

It is again undergoing changes that the original editor missed.

In fact it will be re-released at the end of this year under a new publisher with a number of changes including a new cover, a Foreword written by someone else, a table of contents, and an Afterword written by me.

Stay tuned.

are your future novels going to involve the same characters and their continuing adventures?

That's a good question. The short answer would be "No."

But there are some characters I have revisited.

Example, there is a Chicago Police Detective who appears in The Equinox and later turned up in the Anthology I contributed to called Canopic Jars.

The book I am working on now has a character who is the son of a character from my first book. I like to keep my world small and familiar, but I will avoid sequels like the plague and have no interest in writing a series of books with a recurring character.

I might, if I found the right artist consider a graphic novel based on my main character from Equinox that spans the 14 years that are unaccounted for in THE EQUINOX.
