From the article. . .

"Members of the public are being asked to take suitable precautionary measures and not to engage in any form of vigilante action."

What kind of precautionary measures can you take against a man who "impulsively" attacks women?

His next victim should sue the government blind. Not that she'd win, or that it would make any difference if she did.

The police are clearly asking for vigilante justice. It's ok though because after asking for it they said we shouldn't do it...nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

Scott is being monitored by the Correctional Service of Canada and must obey conditions of a long-term supervision order for the next 10 years.

This isn't the first time police have warned the public about Scott.

In September 2008, after serving more than 12 years at the Bowden Institution for three sexual assaults, police warned the public that Scott had a history of attacking women in parkades.

Five weeks later, he was arrested again after breaking into a stranger's home and assaulting her

Damn.

There's zero logic in releasing him. Can we as the public have access to the reasons the parole board used for the release?

Perhaps the criminal should be provided with the home addresses of those on the parole board. Might make the parole board take the danger to the public more seriously.

I am super curious about what went down in that parole hearing that allowed his release.

I am sure the bureaucrats involved thought it was a great idea. But they have no personal involvement with him or the case after they provide their rubber stamp.

I don't know, it is mind blowing and confusing in the extreme that this guy is free and on the roam with little time done and those charges...'confinement', rape...how could this happen?

something is strange
