Never heard of Beltane??
It is the one non-Abrahamic holiday that was not adopted by Christians. It encompasses Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Mummer's parade, and Thanksgiving all at once and is the greatest holiday in all creation.
When I was a little kid in Brooklyn the boys would do the anti war Morris dance formation:

and as shown in the post above, girls would dance the Maypole:
It should be made into a national holiday.
My daughter danced the Maypole with about twenty kids. They did it properly, too, weaving complex patterns with the ribbons, all of it done to fiddle music. It has a really ancient feel to it as you watch it.
I'm not sure if the Morris dancing part is associated with Beltane.I always thought that it was Saxon.
