Small businesses struggling to deal with pandemic debt: survey
The Canadian Federation of Independent Business revealed that small businesses were facing an average debt of $158,000 due to the pandemic.

Small business makes up the majority of Canadian employment, a whopping 68 percent of all employment opportunities in the private sector (small being defined by the gov't as less than 99 employees). They also have the hardest time upgrading to be competitive in this day and age. The longer term effect of this is going to be a much longer and slower recovery after the upcoming economic slowdown or recession.
