Iowan heavy metal band Slipknot's turntablist Sid Wilson, 49, and Kelly Osbourne, 41, have broken off their engagement.
Sid - both of whom's parents are British despite being born in Des Moines - proposed backstage during last July's Black Sabbath concert at Villa Park in Birmingham as Kelly's parents Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy and wife Sharon looked on.
Sid also visits his grandmother in Portsmouth every year.
Around two weeks later Ozzy died and Kelly is still grieving over losing her father which has led to the engagement being called off.
The couple have a son called Sidney.
We're used to seeing him with a scary mask on, but here was an unmasked Sid proposing to Kelly at Villa Park during last July's Black Sabbath concert as Ozzy and Sharon looked on delighted.
In typical Ozzy fashion, the Black Sabbath frontman joked "Fuck off, you're not marrying my daughter!"
