Prophet Elijah was a teacher of the Torah (his disciple was Prophet Eliseus) === Abu Abd-Allah also was acquainted about the Torah and the Quran.

P. Elijah invited people to worship God alone === the Quran interpreter also invited people to God alone.

Elijah or Elia in Hebrew means Ali in Arabic; the interpreter is called Mohammed-Ali

Elijah was kind-hearted; the Quran interpreter was also kind-hearted.

P Elijah was stern against the idolatry === Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly too was stern against the idolatry.

Elijah of the Last Days
P. Elijah (or Elia) lived then died in Palestine about 3000 years ago; he lived and died before Jesus Christ by long time.
Jews say that he went to heaven by a chariot of fire!
In fact, this is not true: in the Quran: God raised him to Himself; it means: God took his soul up to the kingdom of heaven or the Paradise; all souls of prophets and the righteous will go to heaven or Paradise following their death.

In the Quran Elijah is called Idries; none knew that Idries mentioned in the Quran is in fact Prophet Elia or Elijah, until this was explained by the Quran interpreter: he said Idries is Elia, and is mentioned in the Quran with his title not with his name, which implies the teacher of the Torah.

Confusion between Elia and Elias
Abu Abd-Allah said: Elia is called Idries in the Quran, which means he taught the Torah.
While Elias mentioned in the Quran is another prophet called Isaiah

In the Bible Elias is Elia or Elijah (there is some confusion); Elias implies he was desperate of the belief of his people; he invited people to God alone and to discard the idol Baal.

Abu Abd-Allah as the 'witness'
Abu Abd-Allah gave witness to Prophet Mohammed, by explaining the Quran and proving it is correct
to Jesus Christ that he is the son of man, not the son of God
To Prophet Aaron: he did not make the calf idol.
To Prophet Abraham: he did not give his wife to Pharaoh
To Prophet Lot: he did not commit adultery with his two daughters
And to other prophets.

I think that the biggest similarity between the 2 was that they each had a nervous tick that got the right eye twitching when they got talking about girls.

Interesting, non?

For this reason, I see you are like the tick.

The Mahdi (Abu Abd-Allah) is the Elijah of the Last Days

Jews wait for Elijah who will be raised
The Mahdi is called the 'Raised one' or Qa'em in Arabic: the raised from the dead.

Elijah died and his soul went up to heaven, like the soul of Jesus Christ and other prophets and righteous people.
But the raised one will be Ali not Elia; or exactly Mohammed-Ali

We used to call him Twitchy back in school

It may be you will have the tremor and stiffness, on account of your haughtiness... not far from you.

The prophecy in the Torah Collection, Book of Malachi 4: 5-6
5- Behold, I will send you Elia, the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
6- And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers: lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.

The meaning:
He will send a righteous and pious man, similar to Prophet Elia [or Elijah] in his good conduct and kind heart, before Doomsday which is the great and dreadful day;

When Jaafar, one of the imams, was asked: Why the Mahdi is called the Qa'em?
He said: Because he will be raised from the dead.

So Prophet Elia or Elijah who lived and died more than 3000 years ago, will not be raised again, but it is the Mahdi that will be raised from the dead to put everything in its correct place.

And when Jesus Christ was asked: the Pharisees say Elijah will come first .. he answered: Yes, Elijah will come first to set everything aright.

One of the signs heralding his coming is the "excavation of the temple"
And "the filth of abomination in the Holy Place"

Therefore, God will not let the Wicked Zionists boast and do whatever they like, eventhough they incline to ? Superpower as they call it.
Their work to invalidate God's religion and to harm the House of God: the Aqsa mosque will be frustrated.

In spite of the bad situation of Muslim countries now, the equation will be turned in the opposite direction .. the thing which they try to remove from their imagination.

Similarity between Moses and Elijah of the Last Days ( the Mahdi)

Pharaoh and his host were drowned in the sea,
And the army pursuing after the Mahdi will end in catastrophe .. as it is indicated in some hadiths.

Muslims believe that all Moses, Jesus and Mohammed are messengers of God; God sent them to teach people to devote themselves to God alone, to discard the idols and to warn people about the Next Life.

Elijah just wouldn't play Baal.

Elijah came against the worship of the Baal; and he killed the priests of Baal.
The coming Elijah will have the same role and expose the priests of disbelievers.
Abu Abd-Allah is frankly against the idolatry.

Most people are not believers (on account of their wrong-doing of different degrees, and because they enjoy God's bounties and are not grateful)

Most people follow the traditions of their own people: Jews almost keep as Jews, Christians and Muslims are the same (even they stick to their sects)

People refuse to believe the logical proofs, and they demand the miracles.

It may be God will give them the miracles which they demanded .. and even then they will not believe .. therefore they will be obliged to follow Elijah .. God will oblige them to follow him.

When Moses came and worked his miracles .. Pharaoh refused to believe, and even Moses people did not believe excepting a little number of them .. but they were obliged to follow him .. then even after God took them across the sea .. they went on with their disbelief and suspicion.

The disciples of the Christ followed him and saw many miracles done before their eyes .. and even some of them wavered and demanded more weird miracle so as to believe ..

Prophet Mohammed also .. people followed him .. not all them were firm in belief .. some acted the hypocrites .. a large number of them apostatized in his life and immediately following his death.

Then when time passed .. each religion sect followed their own traditions .. but not true believers in the religion of God: the exclusive devotion to God alone.

Therefore, people will be obliged by God to follow the coming Elijah, according to God's promise that the Islam religion will prevail over all other religions.
