It seems there are allegations that the Pope (before he was a Pope) knew and condoned the acts of Father Murphy buggering hundreds of young boys.

I think the Vatican should be burned to the ground....but that's just me.;-)

Cardinal what's-'is-name did what was then accepted practice. That doesn't leave him blameless.

Oh you wouldn't want to burn down the Vatican, it would make one hell of a
nightclub. I think while we are calling down the Catholic Church and its leadership
we should also look behind the curtain at what is going on in some of the other
religions of the Christian ilk especially. There is sexual deviance going on in all of
them it seems over the passed decade. If it wasn't sex, it was financial scandals
and when you are dealing in the Jesus business this is not good.
I think any of them who are guilty should be put on trial either in their country of
origin or the World Court, now that would be a wild spectacle.
