What this thread shows is that, if you're looking for an excuse to be offended, you can certainly find one.
If you have something to say to me - say it. You get off ended lots of times so don't pick-et my fence.

I am a Canadian living in the us and my live in girl friend has decided to organize a canadian thanksgiving party at my house. Her and my best friend here have planned to make it a dress up party and dress up in "the canadian tuxedo" (denim and plaid). So my question to other canadians is to if I should feel offended by this?

Neat idea. But the plaid thing is hardly a Canadian costume. On the wet coast jeans and a tee shirt and a big bong would be more appropriate. You could find a mountie dress uniform since that is what yankees identify with Canada. You might point out to them that at least we celebrate turkey day in the fall and not in the middle of winter.
