..and his remote detonator wouldn't work from first class...

just kidding.

Actually, I'm not kidding. Who gives a good g' damn if his (in his mind) his female relatives weren't within smelling distance.

F'ing religion...what better way to keep the fairer sex down?

Irritating pricks - they keep introducing all their rules to western civilization, insisting their religion 'demands' it.... yet they've been accommodating modern ways of western travel for years without objection and the sissies in government bend over and obey.

Sheik bought tickets for three wives and servants? He could have purchased consecutive seating.... give me a break.... It's just another attention getting device at an airport....they seem to love using crowds of people to get their nasty little points across.

Maybe he should buy his own damn plane or walk.

The rule about sitting near other males sounds paranoid - what's with Arab males they have to keep their women prisoners? Can't handle comparisons with real men?

Sheik's aren't arabs, thanks for playing though. It is also possible he did buy consecutive seating, and people just changed around (happens to me all the time, I don't care about window seat unless I specifically buy it, so I don't care when they take the window seat and act like they don't know)

Zzarchov I assume you were remarking on my identifying the Sheik as Arabic

Why does this situation have anything to do with how you are seated. Do you regularly purchase tickets for group travel? Are you Arabic?

Airlines generally give group seating when tickets are purchased in numbers such as he did - they ask if adjacent seating is required. Knowing the laws of the Qur'an - rarely would Arabic women be seated apart from their husband or father or brothers. I think the airlines are well versed in Sha'ria law by now - having all the demands by their 'international' passengers requested at the inconvenience of other passengers unless provided for at boarding for the flight..

It is in the airlines' financial interests to get the seating right rather than holding up the whole contingent of passengers - especially those with connecting flights. His little escapade cost them money.

Obviously with all his rules about his wives sitting next to strange unknown males, he follows the tenets of the Arabic world.

Look up Qatar on Wikipedia - the place is primarily Arabic and thus my deduction whether wrong as you dictate, it is considered Arabic.

Unless of course you are well acquainted with the little dictator.

Sheikhs are Arabs. The word "sheikh" itself is an Arabic word. It means elder of a tribe, a lord, a revered wise man or an Islamic scholar.

The Daily Mail describes the story in greater detail.....

Arab princesses kicked off British Airways plane to jeers and whistles after refusing to sit next to male strangers

The delayed plane sat on a baking Italian runway for almost three hours

Qatar's Emir (similar to a king) Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani: related to the Princesses

Three Arab princesses were thrown off a packed British Airways flight after refusing to sit next to male passengers they didn't know.

The dispute - in which the three princesses from the ultra-conservative Qatar royal family demanded segregated seating - left the London-bound plane delayed on a baking Italian runway for nearly three hours.

Furious passengers whistled and clapped as the row intensified before the captain eventually ordered the women to be escorted off the plane.

The princesses, wearing traditional Arab dress, were returning from a day's shopping in Milan. They arrived at the city's Linate airport and boarded Heathrow-bound flight BA 563, which was due to take off at 4pm on Thursday.

The women, all relatives of the oil-rich emir of Qatar, Bader Bin Khalifa Al Thani, were booked into business class in a party of eight which included the emir and an entourage of cooks, servants and other staff.

After passengers had fastened their seat-belts and the plane had taxied on to the runway, two male passengers in the entourage got up to protest about where the women were sitting.

According to the customs of Qatar and other Gulf states, women are not allowed to mix with men who are not relatives.

Cabin crew tried to rearrange the seats but passengers travelling together refused to give up their allotted places. The captain tried to mediate but after more than two and a half hours of wrangling he ordered the bulk of their royal party off the plane.

It is understood that five of the eight - including the princesses and the men who left their seats to protest - were removed.

Police and diplomats from the Qatar consulate in Milan were also called in before the plane eventually took off. The rest of the Qatar party left Milan later on an Alitalia flight.

A BA spokesman said: "The people were offloaded because they failed to comply with safety instructions when the aircraft was taxiing. Two passengers stood up and refused to sit down."

A spokesman at the Qatar embassy in Rome said: "This was a private matter and we have nothing to say."

The problem with cultures such as this is that they firmly belive that women, if allowed any freedom at all, will instantly become friviously, enthusiastically promiscuous.

In the West, we are busily proving them quite correct.

not in Kansas anymore
Now i get it.

I thought sheiks were condoms..I thought a bunch of women would not sit next to men on plane without their condoms....
Are condoms banned from carry on.
I'm not sure, but if you are worried about that it would be pretty easy to slip one on before boarding. Like the boy scouts,be prepared, you never know when an woman in a hot burqa will be seated next to you.

But but you don't know what's inside that burkha.... I thought males enjoyed visual stimulation.... hmmmm perhaps not... If so they could put the condom on their heads and pull it down over their eyes.
