No the farmer might have been a little overboard on the gun but smacking him around is
justified. If I could only get my hands on a couple of people who roar through the orchard
at times. Maybe a little snow buried barb wire there temporarily would get the point across

That would be the good guy. The two clowns are lucky he didn't blow up the sleds.
The idiot with the gun is lucky they didn't take it from him and pound his face. He's deserves a good head bashing.

Poor guy, had is useless cow pasture ridden on by sleds.

Then he could have pulled the trigger in self defense
Besides some people its hard to be nice to. You can
put up signs you can stop people and let them know
their machine is destroying your micro jet irrigation
and still these people don't listen and sure enough they
just do it again. I keep an axe head and a handle in the
bed of the truck. You know to fix at a some time in the
future. I would not use it on the person except in self
defense but if i got the chance on a stalled machine it
would need a lot of work to get it going again.

That is precisely why he was packing a scattergun. You just never know what kind of idiots you will come across. Burning their sleds would have been justified.
