Former ABC News political reporter Sam Donaldson arrested for DUI.



Former ABC News political reporter Sam Donaldson was pulled over on Savannah Road by Lewes Police on December 1 for a traffic violation. An officer says that he’d been drinking. Donaldson failed field sobriety tests, and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He’s been scheduled for a court appearance at a later date.

Donaldson is a former reporter-while Rush is not- Rush sets himself up by uttering pure unadulterated stupidity at times- well not at times- generally most of the time. Also he has had a substance abuse problems and that would make news. I do wish him well though as his problem with addiction and fighting it is a lifelong journey. It never goes away.
