Russia declares that Israel should sign NPT

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - Russia wants Israel to join the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) in order to create a nuclear-free zone in the Middle East, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"This will only become possible when all countries in the region, including Israel, become NPT signatories and have their nuclear activities controlled by the International Atomic Energy Agency," Lavrov said in an interview with a Syrian news agency posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website on Friday.

no doubt, but if Israel did join it would be as a weapons state.

Meaning it would disarm about as fast as Russia, America, France, Britain and China..which have all actually increased their nuclear power since signing the treaty.

The NPT isn't actually followed by those who preach it the loudest.

Ok now someone tell me that the United States has signed that treaty and doesn't develop far more weaponry than any other nation on this sorry little orb....

Liars and con-men...from Russia to America from Israel to Pakistan and India....

It's really fortunate that the United States provides the shining example of how to rule a planet through fear and intimidation....that cold-wars and weapons races are the stuff of ideology and peace-making...

It's all crap friends....regardless of what cabal of weapons-heads is claiming moral superiority...

We're all toast and anyone who believes that any single nation (including the United States) doesn't have tremendous interest in building arsenals of biological and chemical weapons as well as nuclear and energy weapons is fooling themselves....

We live on a rapidly shrinking planet with more haters and adrenaline junkies than is good for any species....
