This whole thing summarizes a lot of my contempt for what happens in Quebec, the whole seperation schtick and by extension the province itself, since the people have no will to address their system at the ballot box. As Frum said (thanks for that link Colpy), the anger isn't directed at whats wrong but at the messengers who pointed out whats wrong. Quebecers should be mad as hell at their politicians and contrary to what S_Lone says, not just at the federalists: the largest examples have been "federalist" although from my perspective out west, a lot of the coddling Quebec with the "distinct society" labels isn't truly federalist because it creates a different methodology in dealing with Quebec issues vs issues in the rest of the country, often a preferential methodology. That aside, if the PQ was so pristine, how come the cost of public projects, such as road building, are just as high when they've been in power?

There is a rotteness in Quebec's politics that needs to be addressed and people need to be sent to prison. The ones behind this corruption are far more deserving of a cell than some idiot trying to sell a couple oz of weed...
