Avro, you obvoiously don't know the expression that when you assume you make an a$$ of yourself.

Congratulations, YOU JUST DID. An A$$ of Biblical proportions.

Of course you can't help of what you are. You would like the head of anyone disagreeing with you blown off. You are a perfect example of a loving, tolerant and objective liberal.

Typical liberal.... Tries to steal other people's ideas.

You're welcome to go back to whatever AGW thread where it was posted, you can find the source there... In terms of Petros, I believe that his suggestion was SHerman and Prof Peabody.

Whatever makes you happy old boy.;-)

Anyone who gets his/her information from MSNBC, by definition is a king-size idiot.

MSNBC is nothing more than the seat of hatred of anything right of center. Their election coverage consisted of five insane yahooes by the names of Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Lawrence O'Donnell, Rachel Maddow and by remote, Ed Shultz. Not a single person with opposing view in sight.

Don't these people ever learn? Don't they see what happened to Air America? (you know, EXTINCTION?) Don't they see that hate-mongering will buy you only so much, mostly from mentally deficient sycophants? Don't they see or understand that bashing FOXNews for not being fair and balanced (who had Democratic commentators), while they had NOT ONE conservative on their election coverage show?

Don't these total boors ever learn that when you invite someone to your show, you should show at least a modicum of courtesy unlike the what that idiot Chris Matthews did to Michelle Bachmann? Don't they realize that 45 minutes of hate-mongering on a one-hour show is too much even for the most rabid acolyte, who is still an intellectual superior of any of these five "journalists" seeped in liberal "fairness"?

So, Avro got his "information" and "news" from MessNBC. Figures!

I don't know YJ. After watching that video, everything Maddow pointed out about Fox was true. And everything in your posts comes off as teenage angst. You know, rebellion without any true justification. Would you care to point out any fallacious statements with the video itself or are you just going to ramble?

As usual a pile of ad hominems.

So is the navy sending out a 10th of it's ships?

Is it costing 200 million a day?

What about death panels?

Is the census going to be used to round up Americans?

Do you get your info from inside the bubble?

mentalfloss, while I like FOXNews, I never claimed that their coverage of everything is perfect. But unlike you, I watch both FOX and MSNBC. Either live or by the modern day wonder of PVR. And in comparioson, FOX is far more fair and balanced than MSNBC or even CNN.

So, unless you can claim the same, I think I am more qualified to form an opinion of the comperative merits of these two TV channels, than you or Avro or especially those on this forum who proudly declare that they never watch any television, but claim to be experts therof, nonetheless.

Here is an assessment of the costs of the Presidential visit to India. I could not be bothered to compare the figures herein to what Rachel Maddow claimed FOX said, because I learned over a long period of time that everything that comes on MSNBC is out of context or an outright lie.

So, if Maddow is correct, I apologize. If she is not, I forgive you.

Of course it is, because that's their slogan. CNN would get sued for copyright infringement if they claimed to be fair and balanced.

If CNN used that slogan they would lose, because they are NOT.

Not quite as bad as that snake-pit of hatred, MSNBC, but pretty bad.
