Richest Congressman: Poor Americans Are "Envy Of The World"

I'm sure he believes that everyone on Earth is dying to be Mercan. He'd be some sort of anomaly if he didn't think that way.

Now its the poor are the envy of the world and nonsense like that to cheapen the
dreams of the average guy. It used to be we could pay women less they had the
husband or father to look after them, when that failed they were in a position to
exploit children once again. The lat 19th and early 20th century saw kids working
in mines and other harder labour positions for less money.
Now its the big corporation paying nothing wages for fast food servers. If the price
of a burger is 12bucks so someone can make at least fifteen I'd pay it so would others
because that would be the going rate.
Its not so much what we are paying, should have to pay or can pay. As a society we
have to get control of what the rates of work and conditions should be.
These bottom feeders at the top making millions and even more millions in bonuses
making 700 times the rate the average worker is what is out of control.
Its not the working stiff or the mom and pop operation or small companies its the guys
pushing stocks and sitting atop the major companies being over paid that is the problem
That is what everyone is paying for. I would like to see caps on bonuses and endorsements
by millionaires to sell running shoes done away with

What's the relative annual salary that you pay your laborers at the orchard Grump?

I expect that there is a suitable pension plan, the orchard matches RRSP contributions, dental, medical, optical, bonus plan and profit sharing.

You, as a concerned citizen of the world offer all this (and more) to your employees, right?

No. I won the lottery and got to be born and raised on this side of the border, in the best country on the planet.

You're on glue if you really believe that there is a huge difference between Canada and the USA
