Corporations should not pay any taxes.
...and they don't. They just incorporate the taxes into the cost of their goods or service and pass it onto the consumer. If corporations paid zero taxes, their costs would drop as would their prices.

You got another one right. They would also hire more people and invest more in R&D....and they don't. They just incorporate the taxes into the cost of their goods or service and pass it onto the consumer. If corporations paid zero taxes, their costs would drop as would their prices.

A corporation that wants to stay on top and make more money will invest in R&D.Only if there is a need. I wouldn't hire anybody and I don't spend anything on R&D if you don't count the Internet.
They should in the U.S. The Supreme Court has held that corporations are persons and have rights under the Constitution and laws. They have the right to hold property, the right to freedom of speech and the press and religion, due process rights, the right to be secure against unresonable search and seizure, the whole shebang. So why shouldn't they pay taxes?A flat tax is advocated by many conservatives and Libertarians.

When you factor-in the gvt's future obligations like employee pensions, CPP, etc; that number increases dramatically

WTF is R & D?

This is rather silly. Don't company trucks use roads? Why should citizens subsidize corpoate use of roads. Don't hospitals treat workplace injuries? Why should the taxpayer subsidize corporate use of the medical system. Don't corpoations have use of the police? Why should taxpayers subsidize that?
Reddie me if you love Obama, Walter!!!!
Becuz it's redundant and they just pass the cost on to the buyer. They should in the U.S. The Supreme Court has held that corporations are persons and have rights under the Constitution and laws. Poor argument. First, it's not redundant. I know, you're operating under the assumption that all the corporation's property belongs to the shareholders. Sorry, that's just not true. Corporations can hold property separate from the shareholders.Becuz it's redundant and they just pass the cost on to the buyer.
You're daft. Corporations just pass the cost of the tax to their customers by raising the price of their products. In the end the consumer pays all taxes so why have all the extra bureaucracy.Poor argument. First, it's not redundant. Your second argument is done to death. Corporations (and non-corporate businesses) pass on ALL costs to the buyer. Saying corporations shouldn't pay taxes because "they pass on the costs" is like saying corporations shouldn't buy materials to make their products because they pass on the costs to consumers.
And then competition kicks in and the competitor who charges the lowes price for comparable products wins. You're daft. Corporations just pass the cost of the tax to their customers by raising the price of their products. In the end the consumer pays all taxes so why have all the extra bureaucracy.

What extra bureaucracy? How hard is the following tax form?
1. How much money did you make?
2. Send us 21 3/4%
Nonsense. It all depends on the corporation. I can learn all I need to know on the Internet.
Well, when are you going to start?![]()

Too much money, too few toys. Yet when the homeless and the hobbiests di it it is a bad thing even being less expensive by a factor of 10. When the raided me they took all the slidy things off my abacus. Oddly enough remembering the sound of the click was all it took to invoke some holographic slidy things and what with the less friction and throw distances being scopeable now it actually is somewhat faster and deeper. They left me a few business cards with some electronic addresses, . . . should I report this development or just let them know that binary brail is back in service?WTF is R & D?
