still. what is wrong with these people! its totally gross.do you think they felt like heroes when they wee done. i mean, it wasnt even just one guy!

Whoever did it, probably felt more empowered for having done it yeah... that tends to be what abuse of any sort is about... making yourself feel more powerful by pounding something else into the ground. Sick and wrong, but almost everyone does it in some way shape or form... this is just one of the extreme ends of the spectrum, desperately needing mental help.

lol Cute comment, Hermie.
Daz, you and your fascination with moosef'rs crack me up. lol The concept is really strange because although you may get lucky enough to come close to a calf, the mthers or dads would tenderize you. Dads would simply because they are cranky all the time, mothers because they are protective.
I saw a mother moose kick the **** out of a little black sporty car one time because it passed me and got too close to the two kids. (I prevented them from passing me twice, but they were insistant, so I let em pass the 3rd time) The people inside weren't hurt but they were sure shaken and the vehicle was toast.
I saw 2 bulls massacre a snowplow nrear Prince George once. The snowblade looked like it was fashioned after a golfball. The 5-ton dual-axle gravel truck it was attached to looked like the black sporty car up to where the moose couldn't reach with their antlers. They dented the hell out of the dumpbox. Outrunning them is iffy too unless one has a vehicle because they can run at 35 MPH, maybe more. Some bulls can weigh close to a ton. And they stand 6 or 7 feet tall (shoulder) and are probably 6.5 feet to 9 feet long.
If someone's stupid enough to want to try a stunt like bestiality on a moose they will get what they deserve. Perhaps that's the punishment that the dogf'er should get.

Enough biology lesson for today, kids. :D

It always cracks me up too. If someone could and they lived through it, insulting them wouldn't be something I'd try...

People who abuse animals also go on to abuse children. I'm all for an eye for an eye. Whoever did this should be raped up the ass.
Also, in the article it said to females witnessed this. They should be held accountable too. Why dont they say who did this?

I would be EXTREMELY hesitant to rat out anyone crazy enough to bugger a dog in front of me. seriously. think about the level of insanity involved there. You'd need to have extreme faith in the legal system putting a nut job like that away for longer than an animal abuse charge allows.

I'd be so angry I'd rat him out and also post his name all over the internet, and blab to newspapers and tv shows. I'd make his life a living hell. I couldn't live with myself knowing that I'd let an arse like that get away with it.

Okay, I know its a huge generalization, but... pitbulls tend to be a breed favored by lower income areas, and a lot of women in lower income communities are still not the outspoken, force to be reckoned with, that women in richer areas are.

You're probably right. Also, women who hang around with the type who would abuse dogs are probably somewhat abused themselves.

exactly... there's probably not a lot of faith there that he would be put away. Women in low income areas suffer a lot of abuse, and see a lot of people look the other way. if i can be totally frank, i know women who have suffered worse damage than this dog has, and without the public outcry. and if the legal systems can fail in cases like those, what faith would you be left with that it would work better to put a man away over a dog?

Bestiality would be outlawed under NJ Assembly bill

New Jersey bans a lot of things, but apparently bestiality is not one of them.

A measure that has begun advancing in the Legislature seeks to change that.

The Assembly Judiciary Committee today voted 6-0 to approve a bill (A3012) that would explicitly ban human sexual activity with animals.

Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli (R-Somerset), the bill’s sponsor, said the idea came from an intern in his office.

“I wish I could take credit for the bill but I cannot,”Ciattarelli said.

Ciattarelli said New Jersey is one of 14 states as of March 2014 that doesn’t explicitly ban bestiality, although it does have animal cruelty laws. He noted that animal cruelty charges in 2009 were dropped against a Moorestown resident who allegedly molested cows.

“There was a pretty high profile case in New Jersey in the last couple years where the prosecutors could not leverage our animal cruelty laws well enough to prosecute the case as they would have liked to,” Ciattarelli said.

Bestiality would be a fourth degree crime, punishable by up to 18 months in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. But it would be upgradable to a third degree crime if the animal dies as a result of it.

To become law, the bill would need to pass both the Assembly and Senate and be approved by Gov. Chris Christie. But nobody in the state Senate has introduced a similar measure.

The bill says "sexual contact" does not "include any medical procedure performed by a licensed veterinarian practicing veterinary medicine or an accepted animal husbandry practice."

Bestiality is legal in 16 states! OMG!!!

One of the strangest and universally condemned acts in the world is bestiality. It is largely unique in that there is not a single culture in the world that condones it, yet it is illegal in only 34 states! While this is largely due to the outrageousness of the crime that it remains legal, there are still cases that make headlines.

Perhaps the most famous case in recent American history was the Enumclaw horse sex case in which a man’s colon was ruptured while attempting to fornicate with a horse. The man was too embarrassed to go to the hospital and soon bled to death.

6 months after this incident, Washington state passed a bill banning the practice, yet cases in other states have not been so prominent and the act remains legal!
