the evolutionary benefit was merely ability to communicate prior to spoken language, it would have assisted tribes way back during hunter/gatherer days...it would have been a rudimentary communication used probably during hunting etc. You go left, I'll go right it would have allowed them to connect and work as a unit

Also, going way back and examining various societies they have found there are similar archetypes that run through all cultures...

Nonsense. Many birds and a few other creatures have particles of magnetite in their systems that react to the planets magnetic field. Their are no mysterious fields linking us.

Without E fields magnetite is a dead rock. M fields are codependent on E-fields. In the sixties my interest was limited to fishing trout outa brooks and my bike, penny candy, and Bonanza.
