And what about all these heavily armed Militias that seem to abound thru the US. And then the religious cults, please do not forget them in your race to a racist attitude and belief.
They didn't kill 3000 people, destroy 2 buildings +, damage the American economy and provoke a war.

Get real dumbo !!

Add the numbers up of armed Militias and deaths over 20-30 years. They are both crazy -A fanatic is a fanatic. Just as you hatred of Muslim becomes abundantly clear.
Dumbo, really - What a literate reply.

Aren't those people a bit young? I thought the original protesters were all old boomer dinosaurs who wanted more out of the gravy train.

I guess Gerald Celente was right, these "Youth Revolts" are coming to the United States and it's not a revolt about Democracy. People under 35 are starting to voice their concerns over a lack of jobs, a lack of homes, a lack of a future and the "no platform" policies of the careerist boomer politicians.

I love the American way. They only take the extremes. And they agree on the issues that are actually ruining the nation. They agree on fighting everybody and borrowing to do it, and allowing private banks to run their monetary policies. but they argue about abortion, same sex marriage, and religious freedom. Right on. What's really stupid is that the people, to this point, actually think these BS issues like this clown brought up, are brought up out of actual interest and not just to distract from the real issues that both parties agree on. It's the ultimate, "hey look over there, the liberals are doin' stuff,"

"don't look at us, they always do stuff. We just react to the stuff they do."

And the average sheep out there thinks either the Republicans are great and the evil liberals are ruining the world because they do stuff or that Obama is jesus' cousin like John the Baptist or something, sent here to pave the way for a return to socialistic glory.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. fools

The Univeristy of Wisconsin is just a few blocks from the State Capitol.

The country can't be saved, but we can still figuratively kill each other. I know this won't turn out well. At this point, that's irrelevant. Canada is like an innocent pedestrian who gets caught in the crosswalk during a car chase.

1984.
According to the mainstream media, it is the Republicans and especially racist conservatives who run the establishment. Worse yet, there is a "Nazi Boogeyman" (yet we can't identify him!?) in the closet - attempting to overthrow the state! And worse yet, that Nazi is to be blamed for all our social ills...

This may had been the case in the 1960s; when the boomers were teenagers experimenting with hard drugs and unprotected sex and were doing things like throwing bags of feces at the police, but is no longer the case.

The "anti-Establishment" left is now the establishment. This had been the case when the depression generation had entered retirement in the 1980's and 1990's.

By establishment, I don't mean the Presidency (Bush receives his "2 minutes of hate" on a hourly basis) but the courts... and the courts have made it no secret about their thoughts on reverse discrimination, affirmitive action, gun seizures, "free speech" (or lack thereof), open borders; et al. And worse yet, we have alphabet soup truespeak institutions like the "Institute for Peace" in the United States.

In a way, I sometimes believe we have "Soft Stalinism" in North America.

1. American man (free of race and religion) vs. Soviet man (free of race and religion)
2. Implementation of hate laws vs. say something racist and you get a vacation to the Siberian Gulag
3. Some gun rights vs. Gun ownership punishable by death
4. Wealthy Elite pushing tax cuts vs. Wealthy elite pushing tax hikes (who paid for Stalin's dachas and private automobiles?!!?)

If we didn't have our system of "balance and checks" than the United States would probably be just like the Soviet Union. Horrible to think about it. We obviously valued our freedom in the past but not anymore. We are just as "free" as the "free Soviet Man" was under Stalin.

I think people watch so much football and other sporting events that they are just used to pickig a side and cheering for it. That just doesn't work in politics. You're not on Team Democrat or Team Republican but that's how they view it. Every Democrat thinks republicans are all racist. Every republican thinks democrats are all commies (and they may be right, lol jk), every liberal in Canada thinks conervatives are backwoods hillbillies, and the coservatives think the liberals are elitist crooked fake swine (and they are definitelt right about that) but in the end, even when people are on the smarter side of an issue they are still usually on it for the wrong reasons anyways. That and no matter what politicians are actually doing, ie screwing us over as the norm is, generally, they can always just name whatever bill they pass something that will make us think it's good. Health reform, stimulus, tort reform, job creation act (how could that be bad), patriot act (well, who's not a patriot). people are so stupid. i think you're right and the battle is lost.

Well put, but you forgot one thing. We've got guns and are armed to the teeth.

The only hope people have is if there is a mass awakening. I know there is supposed to be one with the coming of a new age here, what's really behind all this 2012 mumbo jumbo, but i just think people are so programmed that it might be pretty tough to awake them. Sort of like the one guy in the Matrix movie that sells out Neo and Morpheus to the Agent in order to be put back into the matrix and not remember being free. I think people want to think that things are okay because they just can't handle it. The problem is, if they awoke 20 years ago we'd be okay by now but every year longer it takes brings us closer to the inevitable.

We've won past wars with the United States!

Although; Canada then was not a country and we were a lot smaller... Winston Churchill claimed to be a military strategist; and claimed mountainous Italy, to be the "soft underbelly" of Central Europe - only to find that a few Italians with rifles could hold back entire armies because of the mountainous terrain.

Where am I getting at? The Prairies are simply on borrowed time. We can never ever field enough tanks and armored vehicles to defend it from the Americans. The only real defendable real estate in this country is British Columbia and everything behind the St. Lawrence, Detroit and Ottawa River.

People who are familiar with history know how this is going to turn out for America. No polity has ever survived a prolonged period of financial instability. We are living in a transitional period in history. These are interesting times as the Chinese would say.

well, yeah, the real rulers though, the international banking cartel, will still run things though, whether they create a world currency or not, or whether it's all global government. They'll find a way. I'm sure it's intentional.

Canada has never won a war with America. Proto-Canada was part of New France, and then part of the British Empire and not an organized entity. Then it became a protectorate of the American Empire. Soon it will be on its own.

Canada could not withstand the ruthless use of American arms. But it will never have to. The only American army that threatens Canada will be an ignorant and impoverished mass that may someday eat and screw its way across Canada.

My Canadian friends do not have my experience. As a Californian I have witnessed with my own eyes what happens when ignorant, impoverished and desperate people arrive in mass. It changes everything. You simply cannot imagine what it's like. Don't any of the many Canadian snowbirds ever return with stories of how Arizona and California are now?

No, it's going to explode. In theory, our immigrants are supposed to solve the 'crisis'. Even though, we have double digit unemployment among Canadian youth and the 'immigrant' (family reunification class) is often elderly as well.

Likwise this piece:

But many companies are still failing to realise the importance of a market which is set to grow from 9.5 million to 15 million by 2040. Among this group will be the baby boomers, who currently hold 80% of the UK's wealth and buy 80% of all top of the range cars, 80% of cruises and 50% of skincare products.

BBC NEWS | UK | Magazine | Live fast, die old

Nevermind the massive inequality of wealth. It used to be that most people were dead at 40 / 50, most wealth was procured from labour (as opposed to manipulation of numbers on computer screens) and there was no big government security-taxation-nets which; contemporary, often punishes a young working individual in favour of social misfits and the elderly.

I think America is about to enter a Dark Age. There won't be global govt. in America because we are too well armed. Anyone who comes to the front door is out of luck.
