The Regina Police Service is looking for two men who tried to steal an ATM from a business early Wednesday.

According to a media release from the police, officers were sent to a business in the 400 block of Albert Street at about 5:10 a.m., for a report of a break and enter.

The investigation determined that two men broke in through the front doors of the business, hooked up the ATM to straps attached to a truck outside and tried to remove the machine. Their attempt was unsuccessful.

The truck, a brown 2006 Ford F-250 which subsequently was determined to be stolen, was later found by police abandoned in the area of Thompson Avenue and Fleet Street. (So the rental blocks across the street from Johnson High School in Glen Harlem?)

One suspect is described as having a dark complexion and wearing a dark grey hoodie, black shoes and gloves. Police say the second man was wearing white shoes and gloves.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

This is in Regina, SK. A 1/4 Million people. Full face picture of that dude with that nose? I'm sure the guy didn't start his criminal career with stealing a 3/4Ton truck then breaking into a business to steal an ATM. Safe to assume it's not his first dance with the law, and the police in Regina SK need the public's help identifying this person?

Police say the second man was wearing white shoes and gloves. Hmmmmm....no height or weight or ethnicity or any other description, just white shoes and white gloves (?) and yet that does sound so familiar.
