Thanks Cliff.

Unlike petros, I'm working, so I can only chip in here and there.

Our unemployment rate is 7% since Covid started.
7.8%currently with a real rate of 20%

US unemployment is 15% for the same timeframe.
12.4% actually.

The US also has at least double the infection and death rate compared to us.
And 10X the population and over 9X the population density that we have as well. Nor do I entirely trust the US numbers. The Chief Medical Examiner in Pennsylvania for example, stated there were 3700 deaths in the state attributed to Covid-19 where the patients were never even tested for it.

It's a massive failure over there.
Whaddya expect from a nation of idiots who raised eat Tide Pod eating condom snorters and drink fish tank cleaner and actually believe that Trump told them to go inject Lysol. Of course maybe if the Dumpycraps and other leftards spent less time trying to politicize the virus...

The most sensible thing we've learned is to have some hybrid or blend of capitalism and socialism.

Let one run its course for a bit then switch to the other and vice versa.
Or, ya know, take the best of both systems and dump the garbage parts, scrap the bullshit idea of party politics altogether, and have a country that flies on two wings at once instead of trying and failing to fly with one wing at a time.
