The Halaucaust was ethnic cleansing rather than genocide as that term applies only to extinct groups. That term also makes all of Israel's arguments about Gaza null and void as exiling 650,000 (and killing many more that didn't escape) is ethnic cleansing, a war crime by any standards. Call it Genocide and it leaves some legal wiggle room.
