America's going down.
I seriously doubt that. It's still the wealthiest, most powerful nation in history by a wide margin, it could fall a long way before that stopped being true. It's changing, certainly, but I don't see it as going down, it's just no longer predominantly white and Protestant and a lot of people who ARE white and Protestant see that as a bad thing. It's not, it's just a different thing. America's also very resilient, it'll be okay if those extremist loons on the far right with theocratic tendencies who seem to hate women can be embarrassed into shutting up.

She put the truth out there and that is what counts, I have heard so much nonsense from the right
about things that don't matter no wonder they lost the election. People want solutions to the over
all problems we have in society, they don't want to hear about more problems.
Nope she made sense and if the Republicans listen to the voices of Rush and the Donald Ms
Clinton will mop the floor with them again next time round.
The problem for Republicans are numerous

1 After four years people will be used to medicare and they will want it and more of it.
2 All those urban voters will not ask for they will demand limitations on some and a ban on assault guns
that is a good thing, the assault weapons we don't need
3 the job market and the real estate market will improve by then and Obama will get the credit.

There is more to come and the only chance the Republicans had to take credit for an economic deserved
or not Obama will get the credit. and the Tea Party Dream will fade into history like the other screeching
dissenters of history.

There are so many versions of right wing. They are all looking at each other wonder who the
real conservatives are. There are conservatives and a collection of crazy people and the
Republican Party has become a support group for them to merge.
1 The Born Again Christians
2 The Christians for Zion hoping for WWIII so Jesus will come back and take them on a cloud
3 The Tea Party the biggest obstructionist organization in the country
4 The conspiracy zealots who see beyond the visions of reality and give guidance from the obscure
5 The people who can only repeat the rantings of others without a single thought to what is being said
6 The social conservatives who try to mask the reality of their intentions that everyone saw through
7 The patriot crowd, actually America needs protection from them they would take the country back
to a new dark ages
8 In the midst of this the real fiscal conservatives who see things from a moderate different point of view
They would work with Democrats except for the fact that the rabble would replace them with people
who have several screws loose.

It is truly unfortunate these people with special interests that contradict the essence of America are content
to destroy the entire country because they cannot admit they were defeated by an electorate that wanted
more from their leadership, and they made it close enough to demand that both sides work together.
