Quebec break-in suspect dubbed 'world's hottest criminal'
Faces 114 charges for 42 break-ins

MONTREAL — Victoriaville, Que. native Stephanie Beaudoin faces 114 charges for 42 break-ins but she's drawing a different kind of attention worldwide for flaunting her trim bikini body on Twitter.
News websites and blogs around the world have dubbed the 21-year-old nursing student "hottest alleged thief on the planet" and "world's hottest criminal" for a photo of Beaudoin posing in a black bikini on a boat deck.
Despite the title, her case has yet to be heard in court. "Meet the bikini-clad 'crook' who's been described as being every bit as hot as the goods she's accused of stealing from people's homes," reads an article from the U.K. in Friday's Mirror tabloid.
Beaudoin's photo elicited a bevy of comments on social media, including from user @Gregpeck77 who tweeted "Stephanie Beaudoin, I (left) a spare key under left plant pot at 26 Oakmere Lane." User @TVCasualty tweeted: "Stephanie Beaudoin can steal my heart any day." The Crown laid six new charges against the student this week, in addition to 108 counts filed last August for robberies in and around her hometown 90 minutes northeast of Montreal.
She's suspected of breaking into unoccupied homes through back doors or basement windows along with three teen accomplices aged 13, 15 and 17. Guns were among the stolen items.
Beaudoin's lawyer, Denis Lavigne, described the Crown's evidence as "considerable." Beaudoin is out on bail and due back in court Nov.17.

My junkie sis inlaw has her beat for, number of crimes, looks and apparently brains. Sis in law hasn't gotten caught yet.

And the money she's gotten from being a thief has gone into her boobs (and possibly other parts of her body). When I look at that picture I don't see a hot girl that happens to be a thief, I see a thief that just happens to be a hot girl. With the amount of places she's broken into, she's more slimy than hot.

Stephanie Beaudoin, the Quebec woman who has been dubbed the world's hottest alleged criminal, is now an action figure.
"Oh Canada!!!! The Worlds Sexiest Criminal Action Figure Only 29.95 While Supplies Last," screamed a line under a photo of the figurine that appeared on Herobuilders.com, a Connecticut-based company that put the item on sale Tuesday.
"The story inspired the figure," Herobuilders told QMI Agency in an e-mail. "We typically get cues from the media."
The Victoriaville student faces 114 charges for 42 alleged break-ins, but has drawn a different kind of attention worldwide for flaunting her body on Twitter.

And people wonder why our justice system seems to be like a revolving door. Rather than paint her in an unfavourable light (she's a thief), let's turn her into a celebrity instead!

VICTORIAVILLE, QUE. - A 21-year-old Quebec nursing student who has been dubbed "the world's sexiest criminal" agreed to plead guilty to a series of break-ins and apologized to her victims Monday.
Stephanie Beaudoin faces 114 charges, and has agreed to 30 guilty pleas to be entered when she returns to court on Dec. 9.
"I would like to say that I regret my actions," she told court. "I was in a bad way."
Her lawyer, who told court Beaudoin was suffering from depression when she recruited a couple of youthful apprentices — 13 and 17 years old — to help her break into Quebec homes and steal jewelry, electronics and firearms, asked that his client be spared jail time.
Beaudoin's string of petty crimes gained international media attention after photos of her in a swimsuit came to light.
