Ah yes the Crimea. Well the people of the area decided they would rather be
with the Russians. The Russians have a naval base where there are better
jobs and the ethnicity of the people is closer to being Russian than Ukrainian.
Things were headed for a civil war, and we like so many others would wade in
like we have in so many other places especially America.
Americans forget they had one of those wars and they would not have been happy
had Britain and France intervened and occupied the country to sort things out.
We have made things worse in Iraq, soon Afghanistan will return to the crazy people.
and Libya and God knows where else.
Syria is a civil war that needs to play out to an end determined by the people.
At present the government is supported by many even the Christians in Syria support
the present government. They know the other guys are worse.
Crimea is right where it should be the people did determine their destiny because
it should be up to Europe not America to deal with.
All kinds of rules were broken and Russia did behave as a bully but where is it written
America has the God given right to intervene?
This mess started with a bid for Ukraine to enter the EU something I think many did not
want and the measure and action of the Ukrainian Government created the problem.
This was not Obama's problem unless of course Americans feel they can invade who
ever they please if the people don't do what they want. Some should understand the world
isn't going to put up with that anymore
