Not another unkind word! This isnt realtime and people need to catch up! NOT ANOTHER UNKIND WORD!

Have respect!

Forgive me. I am impressed with your words and sentiments. I misjudged you. We will never agree on our faith, but I have just realized you are not the demon I thought you were. Can we start again? Hi, I'm Mary Gaspe.

Mary there is no forgiveness just clarity :) And we're getting that :)

Much Love

Thank you. I was so very touched with your outpouring to Sanctus, given the feuds you two like to have. Perhaps if we all were together in a room, I bet besides our religious differences, we'd have a great time.

I can say that that is the most likely outcome. It's funny how much we change once we get behind a computer and keyboard.

I know pain and no matter how formidable an apponant NOONE deserves that pain. Ive lost to many in my life and Ive done so alone. I know that hurt and I cant let another hurt like that.

The anonymity of cyberspace at times lets us drop the veneer of manners and politeness. Plus the topics of discussion that we each hold dear. Lack of manners and politeness is never a good thing.

Mary, my name is Howard, if you would also please accept my apologies for any insult or lack of manners I may have given or displayed.

I should extend them quite happily to M. Levesque and Mapleleafgirl too.

I lost my mum when she was 46, my dad when he was 64 and my younger brother at 38 all to heart attacks. I'm sitting here wiping at my eyes. I do hope Sanctus will forgive us and our untimely remarks and opinions.

Me too Howard. I realize you are right. We do let our good manners and graces dissapear on the net for some reason. Believe it or not, I'm not a total bitch in person. I bet you even Sanctus is wonderful in person! I am sorry for any unkind words or comments I made too. If my offline friends read what I wrote, they'd never recogize me.You're so right! Funny, I was just thinking of how much I appreciate Sanctus on this forum, not because of his vocation, but because usually he is so passionate in his beliefs. And even with that, he is human and becomes an angry little boy who just lost "mommy".Know what I mean?

Well, how did you know his Mom passed away? But it explains some of his , if I may, bitchiness tonight!

It does explain his touchiness, but that's no excuse for making this topic. I do believe he was wrong in making this thread, and I'm glad we managed to turn it into something good. I hope Sanctus can find some peace tonight, I think his soul is very tormented at this moment in time.

Yes, I suppose so. I think 64 is kind of young, really. How sad that must be. does Sanctus have siblings, does anyone know?

Oh I bet! Can I confess something to you lot? I never think of priests being human, does that make sense. I saw tonight a side of him that drove home to me how they are just like us, which is like an eye-opener for me. I always thought they were above such feelings, stupid I know, but that's what I thought. when he used swear words at first I was stunned, until I realized he was a man.I probably am sounding like an idiot...

Actually you can keep that apology, you were right , I was wrong, but I editted my post after you quoted it. You may want to take a look at the edited version.

I'm sorry for any nasty comments I have made, and I'm supposed to be a good Catholic:)

I have no doubt that Sanctus is a good person. It's in the job description I'm sure. I have yet to meet a priest of any faith who was not a kind and generous soul willing to turn out at anytime of day or night to give solace, aid and comfort. There are bad eggs in any basket. Can't go tossing out the whole bunch because of them. A good cooking rule is to break your eggs individually aside from the other ingredients so as not to contaminate the all of them. May be our experiences should be treated the same. Let each stand or fall on it's own merits before being folded in to the batch.
