Dat kat is thank to you, now I have to find an avatar that really suits me.

You are right knowledge brings tolerance. When people attach it is because they are afraid of what is written.. "Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me", living according to this saying helps

lol

I wish it were that easy. Unfortunately, knowledge seems to be the antithesis of faith.

I would agree with you if you had of used the word "Religion". There is a big difference between them, faith is something you believe with your heart, religion is taught.

I'll compromise by rewording my comment: knowledge seems to be the antithesis of faith in deities.

lol reminds me of a cartoon in the paper once: picture two buzzards on a limb in a dead tree - one says to the other "Patience, my ass. I'm gonna kill something".
Perhaps these attributes are wearing a little thin in me. Except for the understanding part.

You have every right to be glib. Personally Id rather change the world than laugh at it. I mean dont you get what happened in these pages? Tolerance was born. Understanding of two oppositional forces. THATS a friggin miracle!

There are no such things. I don't think tolerance was born in these pages, because I've been tolerant a lot of times long before I got here. I have to learn more tolerance though, as people who prefer to remain ignorant really make me want to make fun of them. Ignorant people are fine, stupid people are fine, but I have a low tolerance for people who prefer to remain that way.
I don't wish to be glib. What did I say that was glib?

Yeah? Miracles are words that people attach to events they don't understand or that they find odd.
I don't think tolerance was born on these pages. That is my opinion. Then what followed was my self-reflective thought that perhaps I could be more tolerant and why I find it difficult to be more tolerant.
The last was a question. I don't really see where I was trying to portray humor.
