Neither of these guys had a clear majority. Both at about 53-54% of the seats.

Your chronic and habitual bull shit is getting rather tiring. The Liberals almost doubled the Conservatives at 184 to 99, the N.D.P. straggled at 44. Check your 'facts' before appearing to be a complete idiot!

Trudeau holds 184 of 338 seats

Harper held 166 of 308

their majorities were roughly equal

now run along you pathetic little domestic terrorist

You're mixing up two totally different elections- I'm talking 2015 the one that counts at this juncture. Harper held 99 of 338 - a dismal 29%, while Trudeau held over 54%. I may have been born at night but it wasn't last night. "Death threats" is another one of your histrionic outbursts!

Sorry- I have to apologize, upon reviewing the figures, Harper's performance in the PREVIOUS election pretty well matched Trudeau's performance in 2015...…………..not that I can see the relevance, they both got their time " in the sun" albeit different times. (If you are prompt about it I'll accept your apology re my making death threats)

That's pretty rich, Hoid!

You call Judge Kavanaugh a rapist...the pipe bomb mailer a killer...and you still have the audacity to claim JLM was making death threats on this forum.

Your credibility is all used up, as it has been for quite some time on this site..

No sweat you guys, I did "jump" on the guy which was wrong. Technically he was quite right but just wasn't commenting on any thing that had relevance. He has to learn that some of us on here have knowledge equal to his and opinions that may be just as valid.

It is a little over the top calling you a domestic terrorist for having a different opinion.

It was having the opinion that some of those bombs should have gone off.

Nothing but a scrubby little internet terrorist without the balls to carry out any of the hate crimes he wants to see.

61% of the 42% who bothered voting.

What a waste of time and money.

That it was Hoid .....that it was. It was a major victory for those of us who support FTP and a major blow to those who support PR. It is interesting to note that each time they held the referendum the numbers in opposition to changing our system rose.

The best part of all is that Horgan will be pissed right off, after squandering $millions of our money!

That's just a bonus for me, JLM. The best part is keeping FTP. I don't know about your part of the province but here in the Interior many folks did not get their ballot in the mail box due to the ongoing postal strike. In addition, one could only get a ballot, in person at Service BC centers which meant many had to travel to the nearest town that had one. I tried to get one for a friend who was bed-ridden and was denied the opportunity even if I had written permission from the person. I do wonder what effect the postal strike might have had on the low number of voters.

I can't speak for anyone else but I got my ballot in the mail well before the strike and mailed it in right away which seemed to work. F.P.T.P. is the SANE solution BECAUSE it is the simplest and most understandable. It's good because everyone is in the same boat, adhering to the same rules.
