OTTAWA — An internal government memo says federal officials see no “strong pull factors” for organized crime to invest in legal cannabis over any other industry — despite allegations shady money is already tainting the business.

(LIE-berals are dreaming in technicolour if they think organized crime is not already involved with Cannabis! We have already had ample demonstration that LIE-berals are utterly indifferent to the organized crime gangs laundering dirty money at Cdn casinos! And we have had CBC documentary reports that organized crime has been involved in Cdn housing industry for FORTY YEARS or more!)
The government notes say public-safety and health officials do not see criminal infiltration of the booming business as a major threat.
(Anyplace there is money there is also crime! Several years back, Dutch cops raided and closed down ONE THIRD of all the cannabis shops in Amsterdam because they were hives of criminal activity! Money laundering as one would expect, but the shops were also selling hard drugs under the table; and the shops were involved in prostitution and credit card fraud as well!)
(The Mob KNOWS that a legit biz is a great cover for criminal enterprise! This is why so many biker gangs are into house renovation! It fits their skill set and allows for laundering money and for scamming govt on unemployment insurance frauds!)
(And how organized IS crime in Canada? Some years back there were food truck “routes for sale” - advertised in that LIE-beral news media bastion Toronto Red Star! What the ads meant was that if you wanted to try making money as a food truck operator- hauling doughnuts and sandwiches around to construction sites- YOU HAD TO BUY A ROUTE- from somebody!)
(And since construction sites MOVE from time to time as jobs are completed- WHO gets the RIGHT to decide who services the site or not? It is an IDEAL job for gangsters to “sell”! And our LIE-berals are ignoring what amounts to EXTORTION! Buy the route or suffer endless problems with your home and property being vandalized by thugs!)
(If organized crime is willing to “sell” food truck routes and “rent” locations for vending machines then why would they ignore cannabis shops as a revenue source?)
The memos, disclosed through the Access to Information Act, show officials from nine federal agencies became seized with the question early this year after media reports said questionable money was supporting legal medicinal marijuana enterprises.
The internal notes say the use of offshore bank accounts for investing is not illegal, nor was there evidence such sources were being used by organized crime to profit from the legal cannabis sector.
(In other words ALL our police resources are so busy chasing the horde of murderers operating in our cities in our record crime spree or they are chasing the drunken idiots who have been robbing farmers blind whenever they go off to plough a field! So there are no cops left to chase down off shore based thieves doing their dirty work here!)
The Trudeau government recently legalized recreational cannabis use with the aim of denying criminals hefty profits from the illicit pot trade.
(Yes- and the LIE-beral excuse is composed ENTIRELY of fresh, ripe, steaming, straight from the back of the Bull, ORGANIC FERTILIZER! Cash strapped LIE-berals have simply made some guesses as to how much money is being made on Weed sales- and our LIE-berals are so desperate for more gravy they want IN on Weed! So they make Weed legal and get fed a little trickle of the clean money that is hiding the dirty money!)
(Problem is that LIE-berals still have NO handy road side test to determine if a driver is high! And in fully forty percent of cases where a drunk driver has killed somebody in a crash- the driver was also HIGH!)
(And of course LIE-berals have completely ABANDONED Cdn employers who are left to figure out on their own how to handle an employee who may be high! And sadly a significant portion of the Cdn work force thinks that being high is the only way to get through their work day!)
(What Cdn will be comfortable knowing that some happy stoner just slapped some new parts into the brake system of that big truck tailgating them on a major highway? What Cdn will be happy knowing their food was prepared or their costly new consumer product was handled by real life Beavis and Butthead? Or even by real life Cheech and Chong?)
The internal notes say the legal industry’s ability to raise capital should be seen as a positive sign, so long as the money comes from legitimate sources.
(Uh Huh! And as we have ALREADY DETERMINED- LIE-berals ARE NOT LOOKING to see where the money is coming from! For all we know it might even be that SLEAZY TAX EVADER MONEY - that was mentioned in the Paradise Papers - making its ILLEGAL WAY back into Canada!)
