.....and he just HAD to start this trip with a nasty tweet about/to Mayor of London.

He is just so American VULGAR....

NOT everyone is happy to see him there. Many protests,. Politicians boycotting meetings with Trump.

But plenty of pomp and circumstance to feed the trump ego.

all the money in the world cannot give him the true polish, sophistication & respect he so desperately wants. His basic DAN is just too crude.

His Tweet about Sadiq is just a response to the nasty comments Sadiq made about him.

If Sadiq can dish it out then he should be able to take it.

I also believe that the British/Canadian and American heads of state are the two most high profile heads of state in the world. It always seems a bigger event for any country and attracts more attention whenever the monarch or president visits another country.

Tit for tat......is just juvenile.....silly and counterproductive.

The POTUS should be above that kind of pettiness. There are standards of behavior for leaders of nations.......and Trump fails miserably in most areas of diplomacy, tact, dignity, class. etc.

He managed one day with the royals without any serious gaffs. ..........while most on the planet who watched this.......were waiting for just such undignified conduct. He could learn from Charles........who has finessed the role of such social behaviors.

Will see how he conducts himself tomorrow when politics come into play. There is a vlaid reason why some refused to attend this dinner, and to meet with him during h is time in the UK.

The POTUS is way, way below all of this and is totally out of his element. I could see him snapping his finger and shouting "GARCON!" at one of the Queen's Footmen during the State dinner.

It was painful to watch. Interesting that Melanaia is not much better..........at best : arm candy. Very stilted as if she is on the runway and too aware of herself Does not demonstrate genuine interest in anyone around her.......even when supposedly speaking to them. Lack of facial animation....Presenting as distant.......and aloof.

wanna bet the Queen does not have gold leaf toilet seats???

It just goes to show that you can be filthy rich but never progress past being white trash. The Queen and her staff have had to deal with a parade of uncouth bounders like the Trumps over the decades.

Indeed. Not much ......if anything phases the Queen. In her long years at the job ......she has probably seem and dealt with a lot of "interesting" people and situations. She has to be prepared for a ll kinds of "what if " scenarios....even though things are so "controlled" on the surface.
