More than 100 people have fallen ill from suspected food poisoning at a food safety conference in Baltimore.
The national Food Safety Summit attendees were plagued with an outbreak of astroenteritis that left them with nausea and diarrhea, NBC News reports.
Health officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the outbreak, but are testing the food.
"We are working on evaluating possible exposures and doing testing at the Maryland state public health laboratory to attempt to identify an agent," the summit's organizers said in a letter to attendees.
The conference at the Baltimore Convention Center drew 1,300 top American food safety officials, including representatives form the Food and Drug Administration and major food retailers.
The food provider, Centerplate, has not yet issued a statement.

A bunch of food safety inspectors attend a food safety conference and then get sick from the food because nobody inspected it.
