Hey brother..:)

Colpy and many good "conservatives" like war. There's nothing that quickens the spirit of moral outrage and vehement passion like the call to patriotism... whether its a lie or not.

It's not important or even very interesting to these folk that the numbers of enemies created by this "urgent necessity" now significantly out number the entire cornucopia of "terrorism" that ever existed before this ill concieved and fraudulent gambit to resurrect the crusades.

These folk will stand by on the tarmac and wave fond farewells to young men and women sent off to die in violence and mayhem....caring not one moment to consider that the most significant contributing element to this maelstrom of self-destruction and wanton slaughter....was and is the American appetite for revenge, a close second to the American appetite for greed .....and certainly as long as no individual suffers directly...these folk are happy to see flag-draped coffins and stirring memorial services....

No, you didn't, because McCain has consistently supported the war.

Which makes McCain a war crime supporter:

UN.ORG
16 September 2004 – Secretary-General Kofi Annan believes that the Iraq war in 2003 demonstrated the need for the international community to address the issue of preventive action in the context of Charter principles and showed the importance of joint efforts on matters of use of force, a United Nations spokesman said today.

Responding to media questions about the Secretary-General's comments in a BBC interview, spokesman Fred Eckhard told a press briefing in New York that in his remarks the Secretary-General had reiterated his well-known position that the military action against Iraq was not in conformity with the UN Charter.

In the interview, Mr. Annan was repeatedly asked whether the war was "illegal." "Yes," he finally said, "I have indicated it is not in conformity with the UN Charter, from our point of view, and from the Charter point of view it was illegal."

The Secretary-General said the war in Iraq and its aftermath had brought home painful lessons about the importance of resolving use-of-force issues jointly through the UN. "I think that in the end everybody is concluding that it is best to work together with allies and through the UN to deal with some of those issues.

"And I hope we do not see another Iraq-type operation for a long time," the Secretary-General told the interviewer, noting that such action needed UN approval and a much broader support of the international community.
Mr. Eckhard stressed that this had been the Secretary-General's longstanding view...

Even Iraq war architects admit the invasion violated international law:

War critics astonished as US hawk admits invasion was illegal

Oliver Burkeman and Julian Borger in Washington
The Guardian, Thursday November 20, 2003
Article history

International lawyers and anti-war campaigners reacted with astonishment yesterday after the influential Pentagon hawk Richard Perle conceded that the invasion of Iraq had been illegal.

In a startling break with the official White House and Downing Street lines, Mr Perle told an audience in London: "I think in this case international law stood in the way of doing the right thing."...

If Americans elect McCain the world can expect four more years of the same decision making which has turned the US into a rogue nation:

The US has become a rogue nation.

Gentle reader, if you prefer comforting lies to harsh truths, don't read this column.

By Paul Craig Roberts

02/01/06 "ICH" -- -- The state of the union is disastrous. By its naked aggression, bullying, illegal spying on Americans, and illegal torture and detentions, the Bush administration has demonstrated American contempt for the Geneva Convention, for human life and dignity, and for the civil liberties of its own citizens. Increasingly, the US is isolated in the world, having to resort to bribery and threats to impose its diktats. No country any longer looks to America for moral leadership.

The US has become a rogue nation...

The US led invasion of Iraq did not have UN approval. It was a blatant war of agression for the purpose of seizing control of Iraq's natural resouces. All other justifications for starting this war have been thoroughly disproven.

The US led invaders are responsible for hundreds of thousands of innocent deaths. They and the puppet regime they installed in Iraq have locked thousands of people up without charges. These people are routinely subjected to torture techniques approved by the Bush regime and summary execution.

Let's put it this way. Americans would have no trouble identifying these actions as war crimes if they weren't committed by Americans.

ITN has confirmed that Americans don't care what the rest of the world thinks of America...so it stands to reason that that ITN like so many other Americans don't have the personal integrity to acknowlege criminal acts when they see them committed by Americans. It's always been this way...well since 1776 anyway....

America....this land of a people subscribing to a system of laws....what claptrap!

ITN is not all Americans. He's just one person. Millions of Americans are aware that their country is run by war criminals. They are just a minority. Hopefully they will all vote in the next election.

I feel compelled to defend ITN on this accusation.

ITN has repeatedly posted his distaste and digust of the Bush administration.

This is typical of what you accuse the Americans doing, painting with a broad brush, not wanting to be accurate to understand the differences inside another country -- a country to whom you are an outsider. It's typical myopia most outsiders commit.

Most outsiders, me included, mistake the various nuances and statements of those inside another country.

For example, ITN's last post of mirth and irony about the Kurds liking Bush can easily be mistaken if people have not seen ITN's postings over time. He is just noting the irony of perspective. Your vantage point dictates much.

This makes Obama different:

Obama represents change. But then again, by the time he becomes President, he might have sold out. Actions speak louder than words.

He's already sold out EAO959745 otherwise he wouldn't be where he is, don't be alarmed he's only sold out the electorate who polling suggests are irrelevant anyway. His sponsers are the ones that count, they have power to spare, he will assend the one way bildeberger escalator all the way up for life if he avoids adventures like 62-63. Change is out of the question except in a purely cosmetic way, it'll be a shock for Americans to have a literate easy speaker for a president instead of a retarded dry drunk coke head jesus freak born one time to many christon.

"Tragically, and very dangerously in my view, many of those who so vehemently "denounce Bush" are among the loudest mindless adulators of Obama, thus proving my contention that most of these people never understood the deeper problems involved. In certain ways, I consider the behavior of many of Obama's most enthusiastic supporters to constitute an even greater danger than Bush's adherents represented. That is also a subject I will examine further in the future."

Mr Silber sees the greater danger of Obama the change merchant according to the marketing. He'll be a fresh clean new beginning to the old bomb rape pillage and burn game. Bush dun went and gut worned out serving his constitcheints..
