Re: What a joke

So one guy is getting the blame for a coordinated scam that affected non-conservatives voters in as many as 200 ridings across Canada. If we don't get an independent inquiry into Robogate then we don't really have democracy in Canada.

Does that mean you'll meet us with cheers and flowers when we liberate you (and your oil) and restore democracy to Canada?

Re: What a joke

What about the fact that we already have a thread about this, and the author isn't a batsh!t crazy nutter.

Re: What a joke

So why is something so serious as large scale election fraud being handled in such a cavalier manner?

Unless they were behind it you'd think the governing party in Canada would be moving heaven and earth to find out all the details of one of the largest election frauds in Canadian history. Do they want to keep their dirty tricks handy for the next election, is that why there's no ongoing independent inquiry into Robogate.

I think it's entirely within Stephen Harper's character to do this, over the last seven years he's shown himself to be entirely capable of playing ruthless politics, it's why his party is still in power. So if all we're left with in Canada is a shell of a government pretending to be legitimate, where does that leave us. This is an issue potentially more destructive than the sovereignty issue, if Quebec had separated we could still have maintained a democratic country with the remaining provinces. If the conservatives cheated the voters in key ridings last election then we don't really have democracy anymore, just a sham meant to serve the agenda of a few very cynical individuals.

The CPC has cooperated fully with Elections Canada.

I suggest a Thread merge.
