I've often wondered what it would be like to hear a Canadian accent from foreign ears. Every now and then I just randomly say things with different foreign accents, get some cheap laughs and all. Though I don't think I could do "Canadian", I mean I basically can only tell the difference between French and English Canadian accents, though I could pick out 4 from the UK, and theres probably way more than that.

1. I have a particular dislike for West bromich FC (and that's in Birmingham)
2. It's a concreate city, you've been to my part of the world, I enjoy a gentle run in the world's oldest reserved park (the new forest) and sailing on the solent (looking out towards cowes).
3. I recently lost a Hung Leun Kuen www.soton.ac.uk/kungfu torniment to a Brummie so I dislike them more.
4. The girl's accents in Birmingham (UK) are like scraping your nails against a blackboard..ohhhhh...they go thru you!!!.
5. That chat up line would work there, because the men tend to have their knuckles dragging on the floor after eating their chips'n'gravy!!!

We stood in front of the Bull and had a Bobbie take our picture. We met one of my friends children in Barnes and Noble and we went to the Art museum. The fountains were friggin amazing, I could have sat there amongst them alllllll day. We had lunch in the museum and I found the most handsome young man in the room and asked if he'd take our picture. He did and I thanked him and told him I asked him to take our pic BECAUSE he was the most handsome man in the room. *all said in her very sweetest southern accent* He blushed 4 shades red and my friends laughed and said England will never be the same LOL I miss England.....can ya tell?

You sure ain't kidding there. We played a rugby team from England once and there was a "Brummie" in the team. I thought the guy only spoke welsh or manx or something weird. Needed an interpreter; I think the interpreter was from Leeds but I may be wrong. Memory isn't what it used to be.
Ever been to Hamilton? It may have changed a bit since I was there but it was pretty grungy when I saw it.
