Who said they did wrong? Were they convicted of something?

Yes. They were found guilty in their absence, or through their absence. To say that their employees are the reason they shouldn't have been found guilty, is flawed logic.

Both Pepsi (Aquafina) and CocaCola (Dasani) sell bottled water that is simply water run through Reverse Osmosis systems.

Nothing on the bottle claims that it's spring water.

Why would anyone lose their job (other than the person who misplaced the summons, if that's the story)? The loss of profit would only be a 5th of the yearly profit. Megacorps like Coke and Pepsi see lawsuits fairly frequently and just take such things in stride. Same with being fined by governments, they probably even budget for lawsuits and fines.

I think I can agree with this:

Talk about "Beyond Ridiculous". Chuckie and Jimmy claim putting water in a bottle was their idea. Well lets look at this. They file a lawsuit last April. Twenty-eight long years after they came up with this bright idea. WHAT TOOK SO LONG??? And by the way. Did Chuckie and Jimmy steal their idea from Perrier or Evian? They are the ones that made bottled water popular. BEFORE CHUCKIE AND JIMMY SPOKE TO PEPSI!!! And what was Pepsi supposed to do after their biggest competitor, Coca Cola, is making millions selling their bottled water, Dasani. Plus there are dozens of other companies selling bottled water. Did they all steal the idea? Are they also named in the lawsuit? Or should only Pepsi be burdened by these idiots trying to get rich off of Pepsi's success. Not only should this judgement be reversed, but Chuckie and Jimmy should be held responsible for all of Pepsi's legal costs, and also fined by the court for filing an idiotic nuisance suit.

You think that's special, I have an idea, take water, mix it with sugar, some flavour, some colour, and make it fizzy with something like carbon dioxide...I bet it would sell really well.

Sounds interesting... sweet yet non nutritional to max the profits! Do you think that idea would get approved by government health agencies?

Ya Think! Try reading the contents of a can of Diet Rite soda. Not sold in all stores but sold at SOM.
