The oil will last forever. We will always have loads of oil so we can keep building eight thousand pound SUVs and four door F-350 pick-up trucks that get ten miles per gallon on the highway. Idiocy knows no bounds.

Of course there is always going to be oil but it doesn't change the fact the US became an importer back in the 70's. Peak oil is not a theory, it is history. Things have been going downhill in America land ever since but hey, nobody is gonna stop you from buying that F-350.

Oh yeah, and big oil just loves digging up oil dirt in Alberta and burning all that natural gas when there is just so much conventional oil still around?

Cambridge Energy Research Associates and Daniel Yergin trust the marketplace to fix a geological problem - good luck with that!
