At the very end of the post (which were apparently someone else's words), you asked us for our thoughts.
I gave you mine.
You gave me yours:
As for you, that first post was simply written by somebody else, I was just sharing it. Furthermore, if you have a problem with it, then dont post in the thread, because you obviously do not understand what was written.
What I wrote could not have been more clear.
Not up for rebuttal? Don't ask for it.
We all have access to all threads - that is how forums work yes?
First of all, as you said, I asked for a response on what I posted, which I didnt write, as I indicated at the bottom of the post as I wrote who it was by.
I asked what your thoughts were on that specific piece of work and you took it to another step by asking me questions as if I wrote it.
Families who have military in Afganistan read forums - or do you care?
...Plenty of time after the Canadian Military are back at home base for a discussion like this to take place - if you care about the men and women serving that is.
This was merely a response to what was written but it was simply a presumption that I wrote that poem. You said for me to "tuck it in", and then you asked me whether people in Afghanistan read the forums, and everything was pointed towards me, not towards the poem, which I asked for your thoughts on. I do not need or never have asked for your personal opinions on ME. The poem was not written by me. You did not give thoughts on the poem, you just started to ask irrelevant questions, and tell me to "tuck it in".
Last time I checked, the forum was for posting, which I did, and if everyone was to "tuck it in" there would be no discussion or debate would there? Thats not how a forum works is it?
