This is an Interesting New Link...

Paris Attacks Highlight Western Vulnerability, And Our Selective Grief And Outrage

Selective grief and outrage is probably because France is not a muslim country. If this were any other non muslim country we would be just as outraged. Of course we're not as outraged when muslims in muslim countries go about blowing each other up, fine. These countries seem to foster that sort of behavoir.

But don't be coming along to non muslim countries and trying to do the same thing.

Christians, atheists, humanists, other non muslim religions have been very very vocal protesting their tactics.

Muslims appear not to be. They appear to not really want to fix their extremist factions. By "them" I mean the gov't, and political or financial invested individuals not by the peasants, or poor who have no ability to do anything really.

Aside from the politics, initial reports indicate the concert hall had little to no security. In this day and age you can't be an easy target. It also seems to me this was a catastrophic failure of French intelligence. There was a helluva lot of coordination going on, and not just the run of the mill lone wolf attack.

Maybe the influx of refugees throughout Europe is stretching european countries resources to the max and this is our fate for the next forseeable future. To be not as secure as we were before the mass exodus.

Does anybody know? Lots of opinions, lot of thoughts from everyone. But does anybody really KNOW?
I know, just like a lot of people know. Islam.

You can try and mitigate that with imperialist exploitation of resources all you want. But at the end of the day, the banana wars didn't foster 9/11, Charlie Hebdo, 11/13.

The difference, Roman Catholicism v Islam.

I bet we won't see Bill C51 repealed any time soon. How convenient.

I had/have no intention to mitigate that with imperialist exploitations. I dislike religion and think it's a farce, you must know that by now ;)

I believe that religion is what makes it possible for people to do the evil things they do.\

Are we going to wait and see if Islam is able to recognicile it's self to being freely choosen and not forced on people or are we going to stand up against it?

We'll have to stand up against religion though, not just Islam. That's going to make some people very very uncomfortable. They're going to scream about bigotry and persecution.

Probably ISIS.

yes, but what is the thing in ISIS, Islam or the people that can make the people want to kill others in such brutal, cruel ways and be willing to kill yourself in the process.

It's something psychological. There is something different about those that do that, think that, become that then others who take up a religion and go peaceably about their day.

Please don't use the word mad. You'll taint it.

F!ckin insane...pyschologically neutered or something...but not mad.

I guess to put it in simple terms, they're NUTS with a little cruelty thrown in. "Why" isn't part of their vocabulary.

No, but it might help the the world to know what that 'why' is so we can stop it, cure it, prevent it, put an end to it, vaccinate against it, etc.

Otherwise we might just be sticking a band aid over a festering wound. Actually, I think we may have done that already.

I doubt if there's an answer rational people can understand. They are just evil and the only good answer is to isolate them and bomb them. A "tall order" I know!

November 13 2014... a little dated.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that threats made by isis had an expiry date. Maybe you could let us know when we can stop being concerned about these threats. 1 month? 3 months? 6 months?
